Only giving 1 star because it makes you. We were looking for an apartment and they gave a nursing discount so we went with them. Ashley quoted us x amount for rent and told us to apply and pay the fees and she would honor the price she said. So we did. Then we get our copy of the lease they want us to sign and the rent is the incorrect amount. We called and asked Ashley why the rent wasn't the correct price she quoted us and she said they are having system errors and can't honor it anymore. Even though we called several times to confirm the rent was truly going to be discounted. We also were told the trash was $25/month then come to find out that's not true either and can be upwards of $40/month. Luckily we didn't sign the lease and we're only out a few hundred but if they were already lying to us about rent and utilities then who knows what they would have tried to get away with.

Maintenance is the worst. Find a better place if you can. They came to my apartment three separate times within a week last month and supposedly fixed my A/C but it's now a month later and it's not working again. They came back and said that it was fixed again but I still have no cold air.

I've lived here since March of 2019 and I'm enjoying every bit of it. I'm glad I made the decision to move. I have great neighbors. My only advise is if you are bothered by noise easily do not say above a garage unit.

Looks great....but just wait a few months.....The first few months the place seemed fine. But since April, to my shock, there has been an infestation of bugs. After many complaints the best thing they seem to be able to do is come in the morning to sweep them off the walkway (otherwise they crunch under your feet...eek!). There isn't enough parking spaces. There are no assigned parking spots so when you leave you won't get the same spot when you return. In the winter time you can plan on walking a distance back to your apartment. I had a friend fall on the walkway that hadn't been cleared of ice. There is one handicap parking space to serve over two buildings and the older lady on the first floor parks in it. If anyone lives above you (it's a 3 floor complex) it will be loud and it will burn your light bulbs out at a fast rate and the spot light bulbs are around $9 each. Over a year they burned out approx. every 6 weeks. (there are six spot lights in the smallest apartment...you do the math) Unless you're going to not turn the lights on, you'll be paying for light bulbs to have light. You can hire professional cleaners to clean your apartment, but you won't get your full deposit back. You will be greeted with all smiles before you move in, but if you bring up any issues after you've moved in, you won't be greeted with those same smiles. You've been warned. Good luck. There is a nice apartment company, Redwood Living. I would recommend them. You get single story apartment with a connected garage. (after spending one winter at Bridgewater dealing w/ the parking issues and the bugs, the extra cost is worth it)

I lived at 14925 Riverdale Drive East, and was there for two years. Initially things were great and for the most part the office staff is outstanding and the manager Angie Gordeau is great. Angela however can be extremely rude and unsympathetic to any complaints. Once you move out it seems that she has managed far worse maintenance situations etc., etc. My water bill was consistent for the two years I was there, with the exception of the last three months. I provided maintenance with a list of items to repair, one of which was a running toilet. They left a note stating they had repaired the toilet and nothing was done to repair the other items. Not of a concern given I was living elsewhere until my lease was up. The problem however was my water bill jumped three times its normal rate. I paid the first one, assuming it was the toilet, however the next bill was even more. I called the company handling the utility and explained the situation and they referred me back to the office and maintenance. Again they returned and made another repair to the toilet (which I had not used for two months) and proceeded to explain the bill was my problem. I asked for a review of the last three months and explained that I had not been there to run any water and would they please adjust based on the inability of maintenance to address the issue. My final bill arrived and not only did they not make an adjustment, they charged me $39.00 to clean the carpets after 2 years of occupancy. I have lived in two apartments and vacated the first one for what appeared to be a very nice unit, well managed, with close proximity to everything you need. What I did not expect was poor maintenance, inability of management to deal properly with good tenants who pay their bills on time, and carpet cleaning for a 58 year old single man with no pets. One would expect with the cost of single units with a garage they would build in expected paint/carpet cleaning for tenants that are there over two years. I would look carefully at the recent posts here, until some changes are made and management takes a look at true customer service and the ramifications of individuals like me who feel slighted and unappreciated reaching out to give a review. If things would have been better, I would have given a positive review, however I paid the final bill and my retribution is this and any other format that I can find.I would certainly look elsewhere if I were you.Don T.

I am a current resident and I really enjoy living here. It is very close to anything you might need. Anytime we had an issue for maintenance, it was fixed within 1-2 days. I have no complaints about living here, and would highly recommend this complex.

Recently, we moved out of a 3 BDRM apartment in Bridgewater Apartments in Carmel to go out of state. During our six-year stay in Bridgewater, our (Marshall) floor plan worked great for us. (I would love to find a similar floor plan in our new state but no such thing is available.) Bridgewater Apartments' location was great. We loved our kitchen and our attached garage. Dealing with the leasing office was good. All maintenance was taken care of promptly. Some conflicts are bound to arise in a six-year stay. Some did--they are so small that I won't even mention them, with the exception of the following: We had some noisy neighbors--one played music all hours of the day and night; another had an eighteen month old kid that ran constantly making noise. I am not sure that these could be avoided in any apartment, unless it is a villa type (with no neighbors). During our move out period (i.e., the time after we gave our two-month notice), I dealt with Jake and Jenn at the leasing office--both were very helpful, especially Jake (who I understand is no longer there). Could anything have been better? Yes. I only had a week to decide whether to move out or stay another leasing period. Once I decided to move, I only had two months to find an apartment in the new state (sight unseen, because of the pandemic) and find a mover, among other things. This was extraordinarily stressful and difficult. Bridgewater Apartments' month to month rent was almost twice as the rent under a lease. After a six-year stay, I would have liked to have better options for the transition. (In comparison, the month to month rent where we live now--in our new state--is only 20% more.) If our relatives move to Carmel, I will gladly move back to the Bridgewater Apartments

Where do I begin...oh AVOID AT ALL COST. These apartments are by far the worse that I have lived in. Yes they look nice, until you start to live in them and discover everything wrong. Let me start off with the construction of the apartments themselves. These are poorly made to the point that your electric bill will cost you $200 - $300 (even with trying to conserve energy) but leaving you feeling like you live in Antarctica. In addition to that, if you like bugs then great you'll have the opportunity to live with them all along your base boards and windows. Let's also hope you like to stay up all hours of the night listening to your neighbor a.)rocking out to extremely loud music b.) vacuuming or c.)throwing things at your apartment. Don't worry when you call your lovely management team to help they will do absolutely nothing. Even if your neighbor does threaten to throw you down the stairsWe can now we can move on to the lovely management staff themselves. If you have an issue don't worry they will answer your call but will do nothing to help fix it. Oh and might actually yell at you. You will have maintenance walk through that are completely pointless. Because you know all 10 fire detectors will not be checked and you'll have to listen to they're awesome beeps for like a month. Also my wash just leaking everywhere. If you move here don't expect a pleasant experience and expect to want to move as fast as possible (losing all of your deposit and then owing money for they're ridiculous "fixes")

First and foremost, DO NOT LIVE HERE. If you do however make the mistake to live at Bridgewater Apartments, definitely don't live in 14948 Riverdale Dr. E Unit 20. After living in Bridgewater for 14 months, I can honestly so outside of being aesthetically pleasing, with nice appliances and amenities, I have nothing else positive to say. After a few months, I started to experience excessive noise from my upstairs neighbors. This included a pedal piano above my bedroom, a 100+ pound dog constantly playing fetch in the house due to lazy tenants, and constant apartment shaking thuds I can't even begin to explain. After being patient, I reached out to the office to formally complain the first time on 9/18/16, listing no less than a dozen specific instances. This trend continued on a monthly basis (10/24, 11/17, 12/3, 1/13) and nothing was done. I continued to hear Sandy and Angie tell me they had talked to them, and they said they would be better, but it never was. In the end, the offered me the opportunity to move apartments, after admitting they never presented real consequences to the disruptive tenants, which is unacceptable. I received my 60-day notice, and obviously decided not to renew. I reached out to the Justus HQ and they informed me that notice had an incorrect date; it was actually 9 days earlier. I then simply asked the gentleman if they could let me out of my lease 11 days early as a result of my horrendous experience to avoid me paying double rent when I move out, and he said he would look into it. Less than a week later I was informed my request was denied. After I moved out, I received a bill for $3.24, which was the late fee for my utility bill. I had not paid it late, as it was switched into Bridgewater's name and I had sent them a check postmarked on time as requested. They apparently paid the bill late, then charged me for it. Upon my final invoice however, I was refunded my $3.24. This simply shows the lack of organization and professionalism Bridgewater, and Justus properties possess.Just be aware of this if you are looking at Bridgewater, and know that as long as they are receiving your checks, all you will receive is lip service, with nothing backing it up. Feel free to view the Facebook reviews for a more detailed explanation.

Worst and most expensive complex I've ever lived at. We lived here for 3 years and at first it was great. We never had any problems. Then about a year ago we got new neighbors. They blare music at all hours during the day/night. Once we had to call the cops because they were throwing a party at 1am on a Sunday night. There were also several times where we could hear their tv word for word over the noise of our own tv. Complained to the staff over 11 times and it continued to be an issue. Even tried to contact the management company and got nowhere. I was told that Chris was who I needed to speak to and he would call me back, which he never did. Tried to call him several other times and got nowhere. Eventually we decided that we were tired of the sleepless nights, so we broke our lease. No sense in paying $1500 rent for noisy neighbors, a management staff that refuses to handle the situation and sleepless nights. Especially when we know that there are other neighborhoods that are cheaper. Still, if anyone has any issues I would recommend they call the management company: Justus Property Inc. at 317-353-8311, ask for Chris. Even though he never responded to my phone call, maybe if more people call management will start to take these issues seriously.
