We are still waiting on photos from our big day, but wow oh wow. Balmoral House was the top venue for us. We wanted something that was sweet and intimate, but also large enough to host those closest to us. The bridal suite was more than you could have ever asked for and the boys had close quarters to the bar and the patio, which they loved. Jamie was our day-of coordinator, and when I say she went above and beyond -- she really did. Our day literally would not have been made possible without her. I was a very type-A bride until the last two days, and I trusted Jamie to make decisions I am not sure any of my bridesmaids would have wanted to be tasked with deciding. She communicated so thoroughly and the day went by beautifully. Our wedding parties raved about her as did our favorite vendors. If you are thinking about working with the Balmoral House, I could not recommend it enough. There is always a conversation and they always have time to work with you on your big day. Truly, I will forever think of this place as somewhere special with a team of dreams. If you are thinking about a day-of coordinator, I am officially one of those brides who will be pushy and encourage it because I was adamant to not have one, but goodness, I am so happy I did. Thank you, Jamie!!

We have the coordinators to thank for everything! Sarah and her team were an absolute dream to work with, and were always on our side! Sarah was the key to our whole day running smoothlyWe are still getting so many compliments on the whole day coming together so beautifully well. We especially loved the fact The Balmoral wasn't your typical wedding venue. It was, instead, cozy, classy, and intimate for our guest count of 125. Maria McKenzie captured the day and venue so beautifully in her pictures. Florals looked stunning by Up in Roses.

Friend is trying to reschedule due to a PANDEMIC...vendor is money hungry and refuses to help brides. Expecting them to forfeit the deposit and pay MORE for a new date. Where is the compassion and understanding - NO ONE has ever been through the COVID Pandemic. I highly doubt the date will go un-booked. Consider your bride wanting to keep her loved ones safe. My venue was amazing and allowed me to move the date without expecting more money AND my precious date was snatched up in two days. THEY understand how to operate their business to generate more. Find a venue that truly cares about their brides. No compassion at all. Avoid the migraine and book somewhere else!**Updated my review because the owner just called and told her she was just being emotional. Are you kidding!? As a bride I am beside myself at how they are acting and handling this. I feel so sorry for her and her fiancé. This company is disgusting. No class.

I got married at the Balmoral House on Jan. 29, 2022 & it was everything I'd ever dreamed of. Sarah, the venue manager & my day of coordinator, was INCREDIBLE! So friendly & attentive, checking on us often throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed. Leading up to the event, the level of communication was wonderful. The staff at the Balmoral House made my day completely stress-free. They know what they're doing!

Balmoral Golf Club used to be a full private golf course, but has since transitioned to only doing foot golf, a combination of soccer + golf. Professionally, it's a pretty serious sport (argyle socks and all) but this version is meant to be fun and only as competitive as you want it to be.There are 9 holes on the course, each with 2-3 different tee boxes to tee off from based on how difficult you want it to be. Keep track of your par score and either compete as an individual or team scramble style - basically, each person kicks and whoever has the best ball is where everyone moves their ball to tee off, etc until you get it in the hole.Wear closed toed shoes you don't care about and wear sunscreen since it's a golf course and shade is hard to come by. The course is more challenging than I thought (most holes are par 4 or 5) so it wouldn't be ideal for little kids or someone with limited mobility. Our group of all ages and athletic abilities had fun for our team building activity and I highly recommend. We stayed on property the rest of the day for our staff retreat inside the beautiful Balmoral House, a former private residence converted into event space - primarily weddings.Foot golf costs $12 per person but can be as low as $7 a person based on tee time booked online. Note that signage is not large on Allisonville Road so you might pass it. Once on property, follow the signage to weave your way around.

Horrible ripped off a friend and should not be trusted! I am sharing my disgust about this place after seeing what they did to a local woman:I find it terrible that you would keep a friend's deposit because they have to postpone. So many people cannot make the date due to COVID-19 travel restrictions and existing health issues. I understand your policy states you must cancel with 11 months notice, but this was not an issue 11 months ago. I find it truly shameful and pathetic you are that shiesty and unwilling to empathize with a couple when they've already been hit financially during this pandemic and now they have to postpone their wedding day. I'm truly grateful we did not get married at your venue. I will be telling others about this on wedding pages we are still apart of. I hope you reconsider refunding this soon to be bride and her soon to be veteran husband. I hope his service to our country is appreciated by you, because your customer service says otherwise.

Beautiful venue! Really sad to see people leave bad reviews because of covid. Bridezillas are the worst and unfortunately they crossed a very entitled one. I had such a wonderful experience getting married here. What these entitled brides don't understand is the event industry is CRUMBLING. You are still allowed to have weddings - with a few restrictions, rescheduling a wedding means you have hired MULTIPLE people - who rely on these jobs to put food on their table - and you have just pulled that income from them and their families - MULTIPLE families - for your selfish entitled reasons - you can still have weddings! They are happening every weekend! Wedding vendors now spend their weekends navigating the mechanics of a postponement. They're playing complicated guessing games about safe rescheduling dates; calculating how long they can last without their typical revenue stream; applying for financial assistance that they worry will never come; and thinking about how this pandemic may change weddings for years to come.Meanwhile, you have an entitled bride and her friends harassing this beautiful venue because they stood by their contractual agreement - hoping to save their business and the vendors they hired during a PANDEMIC. You can still have weddings! Just wear a mask! Stop screwing over the people you hired! Also this bride has been blasted on several vendor groups, I'm curious if she will even find someone who is willing to work with this Bridezilla.

The owner interrupted an event to scream and yell at the client. I was a guest and have never seen anything like it in my life. I was uncomfortable and couldn't believe what was happening. All because a vendor left tire marks in the grass. The owner ruined the day in the middle of the event and belittled everyone present. Future clients beware. Unprofessional and rude! Just take your money elsewhere to avoid the embarrassment.

Balmoral House is the perfect northside event venue! If you're looking for an intimate and elegant wedding and want privacy for your event - Balmoral is perfect. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor options for ceremony and reception and with Indiana weather its always smart to have an indoor option. My favorite parts of the venue are the deck for cocktail hour, where the lights add the perfect touch of romance - and the HUGE bridal suite to get ready in! I've been to several weddings here and each are a unique and beautiful experience - the staff and bartenders are always very happy and hospitable The owner, Diane is so friendly and has created this hidden gem venue in Fishers!
