Paid for private group session for my daughter, and a private one on one session. Very happy with the training and instruction that was given my daughter. Better than she gets from her team coach. The coaches here do it right. Its nice to have training focused on improving the players regardless of politics.

My daughter has played in several tournaments here, but this weekend (1/30-1/31/2021) was our first one since the COVID-19 pandemic started. If you're going to play in a tournament there, I highly suggest checking their website for updates to their COVID restrictions in case things change from the date I wrote this review.* Athletes were allowed to go in at 7am; parents/spectators had to wait until 7:30am. There was a long line out the door--think back to waiting in line for a concert!--so if you go in the winter months, make sure to bundle up. Admission was $7 per person; I had to pay the same rate for my 11-year-old daughter.* They did temperature checks at the door, masks were required for all spectators (and players when they weren't actively playing), and there was a limit of two people per player who could go in and watch. Live streaming of each court was being provided through Baller TV (which needs to be a separate review - in my experience, it's expensive and unreliable).* The chairs on the court had blue Xs marked on them to show where to sit to maintain social distancing. You are welcome to bring your own chairs and sit behind the row of chairs on the court. There are also some bleachers on the opposite side of the court, and those were marked for social distancing as well.* Parking can be a bit of an issue, and some of the surrounding local businesses don't allow parking in their lots even on the weekend. My advice would be get there early, and make sure you check carefully for no parking signs so you don't get towed!* Google maps will direct you to the place to turn in, but it can be a little confusing to navigate back to the actual gym. Just follow the long line of cars like I did, and you'll be all set!

I really try to avoid giving negative reviews, but I don't have much of a choice here. We love spending time with our close family friends, whose daughter was playing on Sunday, so that more than makes up for what would have been a very frustrating experience. The Academy Volleyball Club is essentially a huge warehouse building, with multiple volleyball courts lined up side-by-side. Lots of issues here:1) Cost: I forked-over $5.00 per person to watch volleyball, as did hundreds (maybe thousands) of other parents and adults on Sunday. You know that feeling you get when it seems like someone just took your money and gave you nothing back in return?2) The Noise Level: There is a HUGE amount of echo and background noise. When games are being played, the constant noise from spectators and the referee whistles is mind-blowing. It's every bit as loud as a rock concert, so be prepared for that. Your voice will be raw from having to scream at the person next to you. Some foam sound absorbing material attached to the walls would help, but spectator comfort obviously is not a priority here. 3) Finding the place: It's tucked away in an industrial park on the east side. Map it out ahead of time, and good luck finding parking at peak times on the weekend.4) $5.00 for a tiny mango slushy?!?!?!? Give me a break people. Very high concession prices and low quality. Not cool.5) The women's bathroom had a line out the door the entire day.6) Why use a password with free WI-FI? The password is posted on a sign near the bathrooms, if you're lucky enough to find it and see it.7) Seating for spectators: There are no bleachers here, but instead, there's a single row of folding chairs that are zip-tied together, leaving little room between you and the person next to you, if you're lucky enough to get a seat in the first place. And, there isn't much room to even bring your own folding chairs. I could go on, but you get the idea. The noise level was unquestionably the most irritating part of this experience. My ears are still ringing, nearly 24 hours later.

With about 11 full length Volleyball courts, I surprisingly arrived for multiple days of tryouts with my daughter for first time club volleyball. The people were somewhat friendly when you sought out information, but most people seemed use to the program, format and facilities. The coaches seems to be pretty good giving feedback to the players. Its a big machine so make sure you are proactive if you have questions.

PLEASE BEWARE! Before you consider sending your child here for sports, you need to know, based on our experience, that this organization appears to ignore and even possibly condone repeated bullying. Even worse, they seem to condone this behavior from coaches as well. When you report this, you are told that it will be investigated. When you provide proof, you are ignored and blown off. Not only are you ignored, you are then targeted and treated differently than other players. Our coach specifically blantantly slandered our daughter on the team social media app to all of the other parents and players. No consequences. They actually told us that she really cared about our daughter. BS. I've never been more disgusted with how a youth organization conducts themselves, especially the leadership. My personal opinion...this organization defines what is wrong with youth sports these days. Do what you want, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This is the most toxic environment for team sports that I've ever experienced!

The noise level is like a concert. Terrible echo and ringing from all the cheering. Get some sound deadening on the walls. Not enough bathrooms. Long line at the ladies' bathroom entrance observed continually from 9-5:30p today. Pop machines were sold out by 1pm. Medium line for concessions.

Awesome club! Coaches are from the area schools- total bonus! Their philosophy is to develop the total athlete. Mind, body , and sole! Hopefully my daughter makes a team!

Amazing facility that finds that perfect balance between competitiveness and life-long character development. The coaching is superb, the parents are a strong, supportive community. The summer camps are excellent for those who cannot commit to a club season or want to improve over the summer. The staff is welcoming, the facility is spotless. Smart trainers on club staff that condition the players so as to reduce repetitive motion injuries, and a complete weight room for additional training. Great support for those seeking to play in college. Club options for regional and national teams. Could not ask for more.

It is loud but it is a warehouse, like the a lot of the other facilities that have a volleyball club. It's organized chaos though and I love it. My daughter loves it. The coaches are awesome, parents are nice. Everyone is in the loop about everything, esp using the ap. The only things I would change, which probably can't be changed... is parking... but is the same at every tournament, even out of town, practice times for older kids are kinda late, ending at 9:30 and the tournament schedules do not come out until like the Wednesday before for the upcoming weekend tournament, even the out of town tournaments. So it's a 2 day notice

This is probably a very solid club with many great players, coaches, staff and volunteers but the BUSINESS that it is...not so much. Admission price for starters! $7 for a 5yr old child give me a break. Concessions will soak up a $20 bill real quick. The most ridiculous issue of all is parking!!! And from past reviews I see it has been an issue for quite some time. Be extremely cautious where you park, you WILL get towed! It's almost as if there's a behind the scenes scheme with the towing company. When you ask the employees about the parking situation you are told an announcement was made hahaha the place is so loud you can't hear any announcement and they know it. The women's restroom had a line forming out the door all day long and that's apparently been an issue for a while as well. Great place for kids to improve their craft but management and ownership is extremely poor and maybe even corrupt. Do not recommend teams scheduling too many tournaments here.
