Thai Recipes Restaurant

Asian cuisine is my comfort food. And Thai Recipes has the best Tom Yum Goon where every spoonful soothes the soul! Whenever I'm under the weather, I like a nice warm soup (like who doesn't, right?!) I found out about Thai coconut soup from another place at 56th street, but was so thrilled to find Thai Recipes Restaurant on the south side of the city. And their soup is amazing.I recently tried their chicken and beef pad Thai, and again amazing! They have a really good coconut chicken soup as well if you're not a seafood lover, that I would recommend.And everything is so reasonably priced. If you're going for the first time, maybe go during their lunch hours, for you to try some items at a smaller portion and a slightly smaller price. But you can get a feel for it before you order dinner, at a slightly higher price. Still reasonable just slightly higher. I've not had an opportunity to dine in- I usually order to-go. But it's a nice, clean and calm atmosphere when I do go inside. So if you love, delicious Thai food check it out and let me know what you think !

I ordered takeout, and was very easy, food was ready exactly when quoted, staff friendly and everything was well packed and still perfectly hot once home. The crab Rangoon was so good! And I loved my massaman curry!

Oh, I wish I had taken a picture of my drunken noodles before I dug in. You'll just have to trust me when I say the presentation was lovely. And the flavor! Wowza. Soooo good. The vegetarian spring rolls were perfect. And let me tell you: Tom Yum soup is one of my favorite dishes and I don't hesitate to say that this is the best Tom Yum in Indy. This place is a hidden gem: well priced, amazing service, unassuming and absolutely delicious.

Establishment is located in a strip mall. It was very clean and friendly service. The food came out fairly quickly and was delicious. We love Thai food and visit many Thai restaurants. We would definitely come back to have the pineapple red curry with shrimp. They cooked everything with the appropriate spice level we ordered. I like medium spice and my husband likes hot. It was overly hot and I was able to enjoy every bite.

Every time my daughter comes to town we HAVE to get dinner here. 2 dishes make a meal and a half for us!! Pad Thai and Massaman Curry are our go to!!

Dine in is lovely and welcoming. I've mostly done carry-out or delivery. So glad to have this quality of Thai food on the Southside of Indianapolis. The massaman curry is among my favorites. Usually mild with a rich blend of spices, and peanuts. You can always ask for more spice, if you prefer.

My daughter and I came here on a Friday night. There were no other customers in the restaurant. We both ordered a curry. My daughter had the duck curry and I had the massaman curry (may have spelled it wrong). Both were absolutely delicious. Forgot to mention the crab Rangoon's were warm and just melted in my mouth. Probably the best I've had. I forgot to mention the papaya saladQuaint little restaurant. The staff was very polite and the service was quick. Definitely need to visit this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

The food was really good! I had the duck curry, papaya salad, and the mango sticky rice...everything was delicious and they had a big portion. The service was really nice and made us feel really welcomed! I would definitely recommend this place for a place to eat!

Amazing Thai food!! Made a random stop running errands and turned out to be a hidden gem. My husband doesn't love Thai food like I do and he was raving about his lunch. 10/10!

We went to Thai Recipes when the initial Thai restaurant we wanted to go to was closed-- and we couldn't have been more lucky! We had two people tending to our table, and they were so sweet and attentive. We got the spring rolls, pad Thai and red curry, which were amazing. We'll be back soon for sure!
