Just posted a review about a regional chain that seems to be perfecting the "slow casual" concept. Meanwhile, Birmingham-based Taziki's has the much more common "fast casual" concept well figured out. (This native Southerner knows that Birmingham's got a bigger Middle Eastern community than you'd probably imagine.)There's no getting around it: Cincinnati has a serious shortage of relatively nutritious, reasonably priced, decent dining options. On those scores, Taziki's rings it up pretty good.The wife and I love Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food, and Taziki does a nice job with a generic Americanized version of it. Fresh salads, nice thick lemony hummus, pretty okay grilled meats, solid pita sandwiches. Not only tasty, but mostly pretty healthy eating as well. If you're familiar with these cuisines, it's not nearly the best you've had (and the limited sides are quite disappointing) but it's not at all bad, either.Service when we do go (usually lunch on weekends) has always been very fast. The staff is efficient and pleasant. Atmosphere and music are kinda bland, but it's agreeable enough, and the dining area seems spic-and-span. And the prices are reasonable (and when you find the Clipp Magazine coupons, like a pre-inflationary-era steal).

This place has caught my eye because it's like the Panera of Mediterranean food. I had also received some coupons in the mail (and then completely forgot to use them - big sad).I got the grilled chicken gyro with basmati rice and it comes with chips. It was great, not the best I've ever had but I wasn't expecting that. It hit the craving and was a great size meal.I will definitely come back in the future.

Tazikis is one of my go to for a filling and healthy meal to quickly grab. They have plenty of parking and this location even has a drive thru. I've been to this location several times and the staff has always been so friendly. The food comes out pretty quickly. My go to order is a chicken gyro. The bright side of this location is the amount of chicken in each gyro- it's well packed. The downside of this location compared to others is they skimp out on the chips- it's an unsatisfying, barely a handful of chips compared to other locations in the area.

This review is a harder one for me... I like the idea of a Mediterranean restaurant that is somewhere between fast food and sit down, the restaurant was clean and bright, and the folks behind the counter were polite and attentive. I liked the menu choices but the gyro meat and the taziki sauce were a little bland for me. Some more flavor to these, and I would be dragging my wife here again and again. Prices were reasonable, the people were nice, and the restaurant was comfortable. Just need the flavors to bump up a little more.

Such a reliable restaurant! Fresh and yummy food! Great staff and timely. I really enjoy the chicken feast! I believe this is one of the few locations in the area that still makes the pasta salad, which is delicious! But I have enjoyed every side I've tried very much including the cucumber side salad.

The food here is excellent. My husband got the new Street Gyro and he loved it. I got a platter with grilled lamb and Mediterranean salad with red potatoes. Every thing we got was amazing. I loved the salad with candied pecans and chick peas. Portions are large.

Finally tried Taziki's and this place did not disappoint. One of the workers suggested the lamb gyro and it was pretty tasty! The Taziki sauce was really good. I also got the cucumber/ tomato salad and that was delicious as well. The restaurant itself was clean and the workers were so pleasant. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. I will definitely be back.
