Taste This Fish

My food was so good. They forgot my side items of peach cobbler and something else but the customer service exceeded expectations because they drove to my house to drop off the rest of my order. So for that I give them an A++. The fish was fresh and crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Thank you so much. Highly recommend

The whiting fish was cooked to perfection and was arguably the was best I've had in a long time.The sides were Fries and Cole Slaw, the perfect accompaniment to fried fish. The hush puppies were cooked well and seasoned just right.They were extremely busy tonight but made the wait worthwhile!

Always want to support a black owned business! I was craving some fried perch and didn't know where to go, so I looked on yelp for fried perch, and this was one of the first places that popped up, probably due to my location, but I am so glad that I tried this because the food was delicious And the price was pretty comparable to other places. The owner was there so it was nice to be able to talk to him. He was very personable and helpful with any questions that we had.The only issue was finding the place. The GPS didn't seem to really understand where exactly the building was so we had to drive around a couple of times before finding it because the GPS took us in a completely different place.This is not a location where you would sit down and eat, more so a grab and go place

Omg what an amazing place! Walk in fish restaurant...call in or delivery.Ordered a 10 piece catfish family meal and was blown away. The fish filet were huge, well coated and seasoned by the Gods!!! The fish was ready by the time I arrived. It was so hot it burned a whole in the Styrofoam. But I had no complaints! I will definitely recommend this place!

I'm not really sure how to feel, and not sure how to rate. I was very excited to try this black owned business and eager to try the peach cobbler that I had read so much about! There was an Uber eats deal for a free cobbler if you spent $25. So I ordered two large sides to make sure I spent $25 to get the cobbler. The order came without the cobbler which was really disappointing. Onto what I did receive. Catfish nugget meal with hush puppies: the nuggets were good, but they were not crispy, which again was disappointing. The hush puppies were absolutely not my cup of tea. They were sweet and did not have a good crunch. The fries were super soggy, which was a bummer. Mac and cheese: I'm a lover of most Mac and cheese and it's hard for me to find one I don't enjoy. This one was alright. Not bad, not great. Greens with turkey meat: all greens and bone. No meat. Coleslaw: absolutely atrocious. Don't order this!!Ultimately, I won't be ordering from here again. I feel like it absolutely wasn't worth what I paid for it. And feeling incredibly let down about not getting the one part of my order that I was really looking forward to.

I will have to remember to take pictures my next trip! It will be another reason to go back! The Experience: This was my first visit here. My son suggested we drive from Fishers down. It was late (bout 8:15p) and they closed at 9p. It was going to be a 20m drive for us so I called to make sure we would still be able to order. We were told the last call was at 8:45p. We arrived at 8:40 and I told her I was the one that called and said I was driving down from fishers and she jokingly said, "Y'all were cutting it close"! lol! From there the experience was great! We placed our orders and waited! It was 5 of us and we ordered the chicken wing dinner, Tilapia dinner, whole catfish dinner and catfish filet dinner! Since we asked for the catfish to be fried hard it took about 35mins. Since they were closing the front staff/mgr/owner (not sure of her title and I'm bad with remembering names) chatted with us for a moment when she came out to lock up and turn the open sign off. We talked with other patrons about the neighborhood and took a trip down memory lane until our food was ready. THE FOOD: Fantastic! 4/5! Overall! I'm a tough grader!!Catfish Filets - 5/5!! Perfectly fried hard as requested! Crunchy and well seasoned! 4 Nice sized pieces! It was very good! Next time I will ask for mustard on the side. I prefer to dip my fish piece by piece!‍‍French fries: 4/5 (there was a mixup, I ordered Mac n' cheese but they gave me fries. They did fix it and I did receive my Mac n cheese. Cole Slaw: 4.5/5 Vey food, not too sweet at all. A tad too much slaw dressing for my taste so that's why the 4.5. It was pretty good!Mac n' cheese: 4/5.... Honestly, it was better than expected and surprisingly good. Peach Cobbler: 4/5 - complimentary because of the slight mix up with the French friesIt wasn't syrupy sweet and that was great for me! I would have loved if there was a tad bit of cinnamon and vanilla that's a personal preference. Other than that it was pretty ok. The food overall was great and definitely worth a trip back! Next time I'll post pics!

The hospitality is only matched by the taste of the food. I order perch fillets dinner with Cole slaw and green. Slapping!!! I definitely recommend.

I found this place by word of mouth. My husband was wanting Catfish. He loved their Catfish meal. Great food and very friendly service.

Ambiance: (5/5)-- The space is neat and clean. It's not a dine in. You come in and grab your food and leave. It's a great waiting area. Food: (4/5): Overall the food was well seasoned and delicious. I just wasn't a huge fan of my peach cobbler it had a lot of nutmeg and I wish it was a lil but more sugar and butter. The catfish steak was fried to perfection. Service: (5/5): Our service was great overall from the phone call to place our order to pickup.

I ordered for the first time last Friday night and was blown away by the quality of the fish and the taste alone. Don't forget to mention the hush puppies, everything I ordered was perfect. I'm a pescatarian and this is my new favorite fish spot. Thank you "Taste This Fish!
