Tark's Pizza

I've grown up with Tarks so it's a staple. Good people, signature style pizza that's not like anything else.

Tarks is simply the best pizza shop around. Super friendly and great pizza. Their sausage and pepperoni is in tiny crumbles all over the pizza. The sauce and crust are both great. You have to try the super sticks (breadsticks cut open with pizza sauce, cheese, sausage and pepperoni inside... they're like a walking pizza.

Pizza places in Galveston have come and gone, but Tark's is still standing. They're pizza is top notch, and always delicious. This place is more of a take out joint, but do provide a few booths to sit at if I remember correctly. The pizza is always perfectly crunchy, and never disappoints.

My husband's family lives in Galveston and we frequently get carryout from here during visits. Their pizzas are great. The toppings are plentiful. My advice: get extra cheese with whatever other toppings you love. You will thank me. I really like their ham and cheese sub. It comes with ham, provolone and marinara. The marinara isn't too sweet and the sandwich bread is crusty and tasty. They are CASH ONLY so be prepared, but there is a nearby bank with ATM if needed. I prefer local pizza places over chains and Tark's doesn't disappoint.

Staff is friendly and always greeting everyone. Pizza crust is unique and been coming here since I can remember. Dont forget cash only!

Tarks has been our go to for years! I remember my dad taking me as a child to get pizza from here. It has always been so good! Staff is super friendly.

best off beat pizza there is. not usually a big fan of square cut pizzas or pizzas this style in general but seriously, i moved out of town years ago and whenever i come back i have to stop by Tarks and grab a slice. no one else does it like they do.

Walked into this joint expecting the great pizza I have always heard of. Almost immediately i was let down. I saw someone behind the counter who just looked like a slob. I ordered a plain cheese pizza and the box I got it in was covered in cat urine. My other complaint is the hillbilly racists that we're sitting at the disgusting tables inside were causing a ruckus.

Fresh and amazing Tark's sandwich and stuffed breadsticks. Worth the short ride from 31.

First off, what a shame that the closest most convenient pizza shop is horrible. Secondly, not convenient at all that I had to drive back home for cash. Get with the times. Thirdly, pizza is gross beyond gross. Under cooked and poorly cut...I mean it is technically pizza if you can even call it that. Too bad the lowest rating is 1 star. I might give it .5Will not be back ever.
