omggg! i learned about this taco truck from someone on social media. they said this place is open up late at night and their tacos are bomb. well i love me some tacos and at times i work late so clearly this place was made just for me. my first time going was last year and there were so many other cars waiting definitely a good sign. i get steak tacos (personally with no onion) the flavor of their meat is so damn good! it's like it sits in garlic . you can tell and i've learned because my friend is their neighbor lol that they cook all day to prepare for each night because the meat is fresh and tender. 2 regular corn tortilla tacos are $5 and the portions are hefty. it comes with radishes, cucumbers and your choice of sauce. i stick with verde. i also suggest their chicken tacos. my favorite time to go is after 9pm when the owner is there. he is absolutely the sweetest and my food seems to taste better. you go to the window - which is covered by a tent if the weather is unfavorable place your order - receive a ticket/number and can return to the car to wait the 5-10mins

The food is always good. I have loved everything I have tried. The hours are perfect. I usually go on a Friday night around 2am and they are always busy. The only con is their burritos can be extremely greasy. Taste is always on point though.

I tried this place about 3 years after moving to Indy and promptly returned the next day. Nowadays there's rarely a week I don't go at least once. The staff is kind and efficient, the food hits the spot and then some, and it doesn't blow the budget. I'd say these are some of if not the best traditional tacos in Indy, along with deliciously authentic tamales and jam packed burritos. I've tried most of the menu here at this point and will vouch for it all. My humble recommendations include supreme shrimp tacos, pastor, chorizo, and asada tacos- the last few with just onions and cilantro. Their pastor makes me doubt reality it's so ridiculously good. I'd also suggest the pork tamales, house pineapple drink, and platanos fritos- fried plantains with a sweet and milky cream cheese topping. And definitely grab some extra homemade salsa. I've turned countless people onto this taco truck and it's become a weekly ritual for coworkers and friends alike. Open late, pretty LED lights and an atmosphere united by an appreciation for good food, it's a can't miss in Indy. Take my word for it, I'll never steer you wrong.

Love this taco truck. It sits at the parking lot on the SW side of the 38th and Lafeyette road intersection. You walk up to the counter on the truck, put in your order, and they give you a ticket that you must present when you pick up your order 5-10 min later. The tacos are fantastic. My favorite is the barbacoa, which like all the tacos is completely stuffed with meat inside two corn tortillas. Their barbacoa is as good as the nearby supermarket's restaurant, Carniceria Guanajuato, but unlike the supermarket, where you can only order barbacoa on the weekends, this truck has them all the time. The chorizo and al pastor tacos are also amazing, stuffed with meat, and every bit the equal of any restaurant in Indy. All tacos come with cilantro and onion and radish (unless you ask them to leave those out), and two little salsa cups, one red and one green. Tacos are $2.50, which given how filling they are, is honestly a great deal. Everything is served fresh and hot.On the less great side, I've also tried the chicharron tacos, which unsurprisingly is a little fatty, maybe not for many folks' tastes? Also, given the setting in the parking lot, you're definitely going to want to do take-out. They have a lot of other stuff which I haven't tried, including quesadillas, burritos, and all the usual. Anyway, go, you won't regret it.Update as of March 28: with everything changing due to coronavirus, it shouldn't surprise me that this food truck is not there as of this date, hopefully they will return!
