Taqueria El Taco Loco

We were looking for a late night food spot, and this food truck popped up. We ordered 3 steak tacos and a steak quesadilla for around $20. If you want simple, quick food, try this place. Would have liked some rice or beans with the quesadilla. Im hoping to try a torta next time!

Easy to say; this is the nearest real taco place you will have from Downtown.Don't waste your money going to Texmex places, just drive 10 minutes from Downtown and find this foodtruck. It has a big white tent on the parking lot, very easy to locate.Usually when I'm looking for tacos, and most of my friends think alike, 38th Street comes to our mind but when it's late at night and you don't want to drive what do you do, have some microwaveable tacos? For real, this is your spot!I'm adding the whole menu they have so you're ready when you're heading there because even when they have a few plastic tables outside, this weather won't let us stay for long and really enjoy the tacos.Their menu is quite big but I usually order the same, a chorizo quesadilla and a couple of tacos; generally Steak and sometimes head which is very tender and tasty meat.I also love their sauces, the green is not spicy and more tasty but the red one is the real deal!I have also seen the tortas and their size is pretty decent however I don't like any burritos that have more than two ingredients for me the way I was raised eating real burritos was, flour tortilla, refried beans and your choice of meat the rest of it (rice, sour cream, lettuce) was added in here.In general, this place has proved they are good and they should move into a bigger place instead of paying expensive tacos by any topping you add on it.Btw, they do accept cards.Give it a try, add me and let me know your experience!

I am absolutely obsessed with this place! Not only is the service amazing and CONSISTENT, the food is amazing and reliable! I am a fan for life and will always recommend this business. So grateful to have found them! Do yourself a favor and patronize this business! You won't be disappointed.
