Tam's Sweet & Savory Café

Tams is amazing! Their service & food are wonderful! Best quiche I've ever had!!! Their dining space is small but it's worth the wait!!!

Nestled in a quaint, converted home, this cozy café features two intimate dining rooms and a lovely outdoor patio, perfect for enjoying spring mornings and summer days. Since opening in 2020, they've thrived through the pandemic, delighting the community with their sweet and savory homemade meals.Our waitress was a pleasure. She was kind, friendly, answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations! She made us feel welcomed. I indulged in the Southern Benny - a delightful combo of a homemade biscuit, sausage, two eggs, and their special chorizo sauce for a kick of spice. Their crispy house-made potatoes are a must-try too! I drenched it in the chorizo sauce! I added a crossoint as a side item to my dish. This was the only disappointing item I had. The crossoint was not what I was hoping as it was soft and more bread like than a crispy layered and soft inside. The lavender lemonade is hands down the best I've had locally, a solid 10/10. Though their sweet treats were nearly sold out, I snagged a raspberry brownie - rich, subtly sweet, and perfect for sharing (or not!). Not a big coffee drinker, but they offer a classic medium roast and customizable iced drinks.Tam's feels like visiting a family member's home, complete with cozy details and a warm, nostalgic vibe. Can't wait to return for their quiches and more unique dishes!

One of the best hidden gems in the Indy area! Nestled in a small older house, you will find so many breakfast and lunch options with the sweetest people who work there. The daily quiche specials are amazing and the biscuits & gravy are one of the best in Indy in my opinion. You can't go wrong with anything you order!

Tam's has amazing service and sweet staff. Love the biscuits & gravy and the hot chocolate! The space can be a little tight with a bigger party, but the house is really charming and comfortable matching how good the food is!

Tam's was grandmothers homemade breakfast! It tasted like everything was made in the kitchen. The service was great and welcoming. The restaurant is not very big at all. If you have a larger party you would likely struggle. Seemed like a lot of people got breakfast to go. When I went, I sat in a room that was very small and I could very much hear the entire conversation of the table next to me. This did not bother me, but just know it is very much a mom and pop shop with pricing a little more aligned with a larger establishment.

This place is so tiny and cute. It's in an old converted house. There are a few tables per room which does mean that you get nice and cozy with whoever is in your room. There is a parking lot off to the side, but not a ton of parking. I went on a weekday, so we didn't have to wait, but I'm sure it's packed on the weekends.The food came out really quick. The biscuit sandwich was delicious. You could tell the biscuits were freshly made. It even came with a side all for under $10. I was very impressed and will go back.

This tiny little house restaurant is a great local brunch option. I enjoy the back yard patio and the staff are friendly and attentive! The food is all around good, but nothing exceptional. I recently had the French toast special and it was delicious. The prices are a bit high, as the French toast special and coffee were $21. I'd give 5 stars if they could get some better coffee! It is typical cafe coffee but lacks any flavor. They even gave me the "stronger" bold version but I couldn't tell the difference between it and their regular. Both were just a step above dirty dish water, in my opinion. Fix the coffee and get 5 stars!

This place is so cute and homey. The food absolutely delicious. Everything is homemade. I had the Norris hash, the potatoes were perfection with a nice crunch of green peppers. The service was quick and checked on frequently.

So I was looking for some breakfast that was kind of like my grandmas. I didn't want to do an upscale fancy place that would over charge me because of the area that I was in or I needed to dress fancy to eat there. Luckily a quick search sales lead me to Tam's Sweet and Savory Cafe and I was not disappointed.The vibe is like a southern house with charm with a nice patio out back. It's kind of like when you go visit your grandma, everything is made from scratch with love. There's no huge kitchen with fancy appliances, just good ol elbow grease.I tried the breakfast sammie and that jalepeño chili Jam moonwalked all over my tongue. The chorizo biscuits and gravy hit all the spots and I just loved the quality of chicken in the chicken salad. Wanna load up on the protein, definitely get the quichè (they have a non meat option as well). Omg! Where do I start?!! First time ordering and was blown away! Sweet little home vibe felt like you're stopping in to eat with family, staff was so welcoming inside and outside, and the food was delicious!! I had the chicken salad on croissant and a side salad, ordered hubby a strawberry salad and lavender lemonade! Will definitely be back!!
