The scenery is beautiful. The people, not so much. The management is awful. The woman is rude & seems to be drunk all the time. She's constantly partying with the other full timers out there & if you're not in the "in crowd" then be prepared to figure everything out yourself! Don't try to get wood, don't try to use the rec hall, don't try to put a tent on your lot, nothing unless you're their friends. They let the full timers break all the rules & crucify anyone else who dares step on their toes. They have people out there who have built entire structures onto their campers, as if it's an addition to a house. We were away from our camper for about 2 weeks & got a very rude text about it looking shabby & needing cleaned up. When we explained we were having some personal & medical issues going on, we were told it was still our responsibility. We have never even been told where our lot ends & begins. We paid extra for a huge lot that everyone else parks on. So we paid someone to take care of it. The next day the manager hears we are trying to sell our camper & she told us that we were being kicked out & she was moving our camper. When asked why, she said "attitude." & "private campground." "I manage out here." We have paid for our camper to sit there too & they are moving it without permission because of the tone in a text. They have not been given permission to enter our camper, which has to be done to close the slides to move it. She's been a nightmare to deal with from the beginning, several people out there have had issues with her attitude actually but she's allowed because she is in charge.

The manager and all the help are very hospitable. The scenery and peace with the river flowing along the camp are something to experience. Only a few miles from Logansport but tucked away in nature, this site is wonderful.Make sure you keep your eyes out for the eagle :)

We drove into the campground and were so disappointed. It was not well maintained. The kids playground equipment looked extremely unsafe. The basketball hoop was falling down. The campsites are so close together. The pictures online were very deceiving. We had come from several hours away and didn't have another reservation and felt we had no choice but to stay one night. While he was booking us (much to my dismay) I was able to call the nearby Salamonie State Park and find a campsite. I asked him to go back and cancel the transaction he had just made and the owner refused. They charged us and would not give our money back. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS CAMPGROUND. Terrible customer service.
