Taglio OTR

Visiting Cincinnati for the first time, went looking for a pizzeria.Discovered Taglio in OTR. I went for the deep dish, tomato sauce, mozzarella and garlic. Incredible!! Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had to be honest. Our server was friendly and helpful, explaining the various options. Highly recommended. If you want a great pizza and you're in Cincinnati, give Taglio a visit.

I always like to give places another shot, even if my first visit was just okay. Tonight, I stopped by Taglio in OTR and ordered cheese sticks and a personal pepperoni thin crust. Unfortunately, the cheese sticks didn't live up to what I remember--they used to be great, but tonight they just didn't hit the spot. I've had excellent ones in the past, and I was under the impression they were made in-house. The pizza was alright, but nothing standout.I have to say, as much as I enjoy living in Cincinnati, the pizza scene here doesn't compare to my native hometown of Dayton. Places like Cassano's, Flying Pizza, Joe's Pizzeria, and Marion's Piazza (just to name a few) set the bar high. Dayton simply does pizza best.I don't love leaving negative reviews, but honest feedback matters. Hopefully, Taglio can step it up next time!

TLDR; get it for takeout, not dine in.Visited Taglio for Cincy Pizza Week and dined in for the first time. I've gotten takeout multiple times and am a huge fan of their Detroit style pizza - the pepperoni hot honey is my favorite! The pizza they offered for pizza week was a Brooklyn style pizza, which was also really good, but the dine in experience just wasn't the best. We had two servers who checked in with us periodically, but the time between ordering and receiving our food took a while, even though the restaurant wasn't packed. Our server even told us that our food would be out soon, but it was another 5-10 minutes after she told us that our food came out. The pizza was pretty cold when we received it, which is a shame cause the pizza itself tasted good. All of us also ordered Cokes and they were either extremely flat or fizzy but without enough syrup. If it were solely based on my one experience I'd probably give it three stars, but I know how good the pizza is so bumped up to a four. All to say, the pizza here is great; the in dining experience, not so much.

My breakdown is as follows- 4 stars for the food, zero stars for the service - averaging out to my final, 2 star review. Pizza was great, but the service was atrocious. Our server was rude, unattentive and messed up our order but still made us pay for the up-charged wrong order anyway. Not only that, but when he realized his mistake, instead of fixing it, just ignored us for the remainder of our visit until we were sick of waiting and wanted to leave. Honestly, who messes up a pizza order and then never comes back to check if things are ok, offer napkins, red pepper flakes, more drinks, etc? This lack of respect and decency to guests is not acceptable. I wish I could recommend this place, but the server, who will remain nameless, was a reflection of the restaurant and a true disappointment.

I really enjoyed our meal at Taglio! They specialize in Detroit pan pizza with a lot of interesting topping combinations. We chose the Pineapple Chipotle which was on point! Savory and sweet met up and danced amazingly! The appetizer trio also featured some amazing mozzarella stix and eggplant parmesan as well as some well made fried green tomatoes. Mwuah! There are a couple of exclusive drafts on tap, satisfactory as well.Service was very attentive and helpful. Very informed and offered suggestions. I would go back!

This is the premier spot to get pizza in OTR. The place is nice and casual and they provide fantastic customer service. The friend green tomatoes and eggplant appetizers are both tremendously good. The deep dish Margherita is some of the best pizza we've ever eaten. Would absolutely recommend trying this place out.

We stopped into Taglio on a Thursday for lunch.We ordered a large cranberry almond salad and a small Detroit style Pepperoni + Honey pizza.The salad was delicious and the pizza was outstanding!Plenty of TVs around the bar to watch college basketball as well!

Stopped by here for an early dinner. Went with the Pepperoni with hot honey pizza, Detroit style. 10 out of 10. From the sauce to the cheese to the hot honey to the quality of the bread. It is a bit on the pricier side than what I'm used to paying for, but the quality of the pizza was really good. Service was attentive. Plenty of seating, as well as televisions to watch whatever games are on. Good spot to start off a date or catch up with a girlfriend.

Love Love Love Taglio's pizza!! Especially the Detroit style with pepperoni and hot honey. Their ingredients are the highest quality and just delicious! It's also a great sports bar with giant tvs and excellent service. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

The food is always so amazing so amazing and me and my boyfriend come here very often, the service is always great Everytime we come here. The atmosphere is always so enjoyable especially when it's dark outside. I absolutely recommend 12/10
