This restaurant is located in the City Market. It is part of the Indianapolis Black Chamber of Commerce's SOUL of the City program, in conjunction with Bank of America. The program provides space for 4 first time Black business owners. The restaurant is not well marked, but is located in the back corner of the Market.Being that it is located in City Market, there is a lot of metered parking within a reasonable walking distance and there are a few commercial garages available as well. They are not open everyday, or at least they were closed on Monday when I went to visit.The woman working there was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant has a compact menu. You will find it on the chalkboard on the counter. I went with the catfish platter. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for them to prepare my food, but it was made fresh. You can sit in the Market's indoor dining area that is located on the upper (and now lower) levels or at one of the tables in the outdoor courtyard. It was a nice day, so I decided to eat outside.The catfish and fries were decent. I cant give them the title of best that I have had, but it was good. It came with some hot sauce. If I have one suggestion, it would be to up their hot sauce game. I got two packets of a watery generic hot sauce. I would have like a more name brand sauce. It would have set the catfish off a bit more. I love supporting local and I will be back to check out some of their other savory dishes soon.

I've followed T Street Eatz since before they opened in the City Market but my timing downtown never matched their open hours until THURSDAY! After leaving my doctors appointment I excitedly head to City Market to find them! It was around 3 pm and it was very empty Only a handful of eating establishments and two vendors! It was sad to see the once vibrant Market in such a deserted state. Any who, I excitedly made my way to T Street! Upon my arrival I explained how excited I was to finally have a chance to meet them and take their food. I was then informed that they were out of catfish and asked if I wanted to taste the banana pudding. I accepted a sample and then questioned about the combo items listed. He was interrupted in the middle of his explanation by "Tasha" I assume, who asked him to do something else. She then asked what I wanted to order and I repeated that I wasn't sure and was interested in the daily combo, directing my attention to the menu board. Less than a minute later I was asked again what I wanted to order, so I just went for the 5 wings and fries with their fruit punch. I wasn't informed that my order would take about 15 minutes. I walked around to see what was left of the once vibrant Market and noticed that many of the longtime tenants were either no longer there or was run by different owners. After hearing my name called, I went back to retrieve my order. As I walked away, I noticed that I had no condiments so I returned. After walking away a second time I noticed that I did not receive my fruit punch! Although the service was a bit chaotic the wings were fresh, seasoned and cooked perfectly. I have been wanting to try this spot for a minute. Since I was in the area I figured no better time but now. The service I received was excellent. I've noticed customer service has not been on top of the list at some places but here...Superb...The food was freshly made which was a plus. I got my order to go and the aroma in my car had me cracking the box open at the stop light. Had to try it...delicious Thank you for the great meal and super great service. I will return and it won't be long!

The owners are super friendly and invited me over as I was walking around the Market. I was browsing around because I was not sure if I wanted to grab lunch downtown. They offered me a sampling of Chef T's House Fruit Punch or Banana Pudding. Hmm hard choice here but I settled on the fruit punch because heck I was kind of thirsty. Chef T's House Fruit Punch is something I have not tasted before and it was really good. I have tasted a lot of fruit punch (hey no judgment here but Hawaiian punch was a regular rotation at my house back in the day) so this was a different taste for sure. They explained that they use fresh fruits for the juice and I could taste the fruit bits. It is definitely a winning recipe! I bought a bottle to take and enjoy later at home. Writting this review reminds me that I need to figure out how to get downtown to T Street Eatz to score another bottle real soon or they do have a delivery option that I should probably look into!

1st visit I ordered a vegan "sub". It was over $10 and didn't come with a side. The "sub" came on a tiny croissant and because of its delicacy, could not stand up to the toppings or the sauces. However, it was delicious. 2nd visit I ordered a vegan "philly cheese steak" $13.99 sandwich only. This too was delicious but came on a hamburger bun. It's incredibly difficult to keep beyond meat crumbles, toppings, and sauce on a hamburger bun. I ended up eating the majority or the contents with a fork since they had all fallen out. I'd love to support this place more but sadly I will no longer eat hear or recommend this place because it's super misleading to expect a sub or a cheesesteak and receive a burger and a croissant. When you pair that with the amount of money that's being charged for such a small amount of food, it's just not worth it. If they used regular sized sub buns for their vegan sandwiches I would gladly return and give them all of my money. I'd even tip because they are very kind people.Update: my child just handed my his plate and there is hair in his food.

By far the best wings I have ever had in my entire life. Came to Indy for a show and discovered this gem of a place. There is not a single shop in Michigan with wings nearly as good as these. The service was great and I would recommend it to everyone who loves chicken wings. I had the "honey not so hot" sauce with my wings and I instantly fell in love. My fiancé and I were visiting from Michigan and stopped here. Let me tell you that we had the BEST wings we have EVER had here! Better than any wings we have had in Michigan! The Honey Not So Hot sauce is to die for!!! The bbq sauce was incredibl, and the house made ranch and bleu cheese were next level!! Food aside, the service was incredible as well. The lady making the food was incredibly helpful and friendly. This place alone is worth visiting Indiana for. 11/10!
