T C's Restaurant & Tavern

What a delightful hidden gem in the small town of Battleground, IN. I visited the museum, then had lunch here. A warm welcome, patient wait staff, large portions, and very good prices. Very cozy and pleasant. I had the NY steak and salad. I'll have the tenderloin next time, since the photo looks incredible.

Driving to Chicago from Indy we were looking for something not a chain. TC's was a delightful surprise. The food is delicious and good portions. The tenderloin sandwich could feed two or three. They have a nice place

Traveled a couple miles off the interstate to this fun little place. Saturday night in Battleground and this was clearly the place to be. Dinner, drinks, amazing food, great service.

Enjoyed our visit to TC's. Friendly service and casual dining in a classic tavern atmosphere. TC's has a family friendly dining room and a 21+ dining room and bar. My mom loved her burger and the tenderloin sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Service was attentive and kind. Five stars!

TC's is a great small town restaurant that serves good, hot food and lots of it. We stopped here mid-afternoon on a Friday so the place was near empty. I didn't want to eat much so I ordered a catfish sandwich. It came with two catfish fingers in a large bun. The catfish was tender and moist. My companions ordered full meals. The ribeye and pork chop are enormous! Wow! A third diner ordered boneless country ribs. The plate was full of chunks of ribs slathered with BBQ sauce. The food took a while to be served, even with few tables occupied. The menu clearly states they will not sacrifice quality for fast service. So expect to wait and allow a little more time. The atmosphere is very divey in a good way. The walls are adorned with old sports photos from the long gone Battle Ground HS. I believe I will return soon.

Great pub food! Have been there a few times and plan to go back soon. Love the burger, the buffalo chips and we especially love the soups! Very chill atmosphere and always great service from the bartender and wait staff. Recommended!

We went to TC's twice during the Purdue football season fall 2024 and had great meals there. I prefer the catfish filets for dinner. The breaded mushrooms make a great appetizer to share.The waitress in the family section is very friendly and efficient.We will be back there next fall.

This is definitely my favorite little restaurant because of the nostalgia, kindness, & great food options having grown up in the area. Share a laugh with the staff, especially the greatest bartender, "C," and feel at home.

We stopped at TC Tavern by chance on a Thursday afternoon around 2. We were lost and my girls were hungry. My map apps were not wanting to provide any help. When we entered the staff were friendly and let us know to pick any seat. The waitress answered questions about the menu as she took our order. She was also nice enough to allow us to use the wifi as well as to give us clear directions that would get us back to 65. The food was delicious. My oldest ordered boneless wings, fries and cheese curds. A predictable meal for her and she enjoyed it saying the chicken was delicious. My youngest ordered the club sandwich and enjoyed it as well. I ordered a cheeseburger. It hit the spot it was served on an oversized bun and was packed with flavor. Should we ever happen to be in Battle Ground again we will make sure to stop for another meal.
