Sycamore Drive In

I've ate a lot of ice cream and frozen custard over the years, but Sycamore is still my favorite!The service is always friendly and quick, and the food is perfect!

As good as it gets. Perfect custard. Very friendly staff. Has not changed in 60 years. Get all the time when I'm in town.

Great service best ice cream and shakes . Has provided good selection of sandwiches and side dishes , hot , delicious, quick service. Ice cream varieties for anyone who wants a special treat.

A local recommended this place. Went on a Wednesday at 1:30 and th drive Thur line was wrapped around the corner and about 10 people in line. They carry 3'flavors if ice cream a day. Today's feature was mint chip my daughter got the vanilla and it's more of a soft scoop ice cream. I know they homemake all the ice cream so this is probably the reason that it's on the softer side. It was just an average vanilla. Nothing special with it. It wasn't overpowering in flavors. The menu is scattered across the windows which makes it hard to read. They do carry the usual such as shakes and sundaes. There is parking on the street and a few spots by the building. If we lived here I'm not sure we'd come very often.

It was soooooooo delicious. I got a chocolate cone and my son got a chocolate and blueberry milk shake just got in the car and my son loves his shake 5stars definitely recommend coming hereBtw they have different flavors each day.

The best because it's not just "ice cream" it is super creamy and super flavorful. I'm not sure if they're still making it on site but I know that they did for many years. So there may only be the holy trinity of flavors (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry) plus one other flavor of the day available. Try it. Trust me you won't mind that at all. Malts, shakes, sundaes, comes, cups, banana splits, parfaits, slushees all you expect. You might look at the prices and think that's a little high - worth it! Oh yeah, they have a small sandwich menu too!

This was a really fun, small-town place to visit. With Covid, my husband and I have been loading up our two dogs and visiting a local place in Indiana towns this summer. We had never been to Logansport so we looked at Yelp and chose Sycamore based on great reviews and hit the road for ice cream on a Friday night after work. The drive in is pretty cool, right in the middle of houses in a neighborhood area. It's more of a drive thru than drove in technically and sure enough we could see the line down the street as we got close. The girls working the drive thru were really friendly in helping us choose something to order. They seemed to have a good number of options. I really enjoyed the turtle sundae and my husband couldn't pass up the caramel apple wedges for ice cream. We both thought the caramel was very tasty. And actually ordering the caramel apple wedges with ice cream is probably a really good idea! It's a bit of a drive for regular visits but if we want to go for a drive for something different, I'd go back and try it again. It definitely gave me the feeling of a small town ice cream place versus the chain of bigger commercial places.

Started going there when I was in high school...graduated in 1959. It had been 13 years since we last there but is a "must do" when back in Indiana. I love two things about Sycamore's: 1. Their lemon custard!!! 2. They have worked diligently, and successfully in my opinion, to preserve the original flavor from those many years ago. That is amazing!

My favorite part of visiting my grandparents. I bring home a quart of vanilla and chocolate back to Michigan. Nothing beats this place
