Swiss Maid Country Market

My grandparents took me to Hope, Indiana today for a nice little visit. This is one of the stores they frequent when they come here. It's run by Mennonites and a small store filled with local goods. The staff are friendly and they have tons of homemade items. I picked up some fudge and apple butter. The prices are fair.

You must try this place out, its fantastic! Weekly meat and cheese specials are great and they have daily lunch specials. Awesome homemade pies, cookies and breads.

I love the selection of basic staples. It has a home grown feel and great quality and prices. Today was my 1st time visiting this little market but it was a great surprise. They have everything on the shelf to prepare homemade meals and the also have a deli for a quick stop with a fantastic array of meats and cheeses. I will become a regular patron even though I am not a resident of this great small town. I give Swiss Maid Country Market a high five.

Employees are always helpful and friendly. Their deli area has THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE pepper cheese selection around. The pies and breads are fresh and homemade. The seasonal fruit is always fresh and in good condition.
