Mascarpone Plum with Red Wine Glazed Danish? Yum! The crust was light fluffy and buttery. The plum was fresh and tart. I could eat these everyday. So delicious. Sweet Revolution Bakery is an upscale locally-owned bakery in downtown Lafayette. There are a couple tables inside and out. Fun vintage baking decor covers the walls. They serve a variety of pastries, cookies and pies. Everything looks fabulous. They also have your favorite coffees. The clerks are eager to take orders. I recommend and I'll be back.

Lately, Sweet Revolution has been hit or miss. My past two visits have both been disappointing. I found a hair in my pot pie on my previous visit and today I found a hair in my cinnamon roll. Really disappointed in my past few purchases since finding hair in pastries is so, so gross.

The best bakery in Great lafayette! All the cakes and breads are made fresh and so many choices!! Had their cheesecakes and s'more pie the other day they were phenomenal and decide to come back. The ham croissant is crispy and delicious, strawberry lemon tart with s'more topping is nice, the mixed flavors are successful and the texture of the fruit and crispy shell are a good combo. The service is great, everyone is very nice and helpful, they gave us some great recommendations. Their Kitchen is very clean as I observed. Will definitely visit again!!

I love this place so much! I got some treats for my bffs 40th birthday. S'mores Tart (insanely rich, but great), Vegan Strawberry Rhubarb Pie (fabulous and would never guest its vegan and GF), Lemon Blueberry Tart was the star though, so tart and perfectly balanced with the meringue. Also added two macaroons and a ham croissant. $29 before tip, so not cheap but worth it.

Goodness, this bakery is FABULOUS! you can smell the treats from down the street. What to expect? A hustling staff serving up quiche, mini pies, croissants, bread pudding, oatmeal cream pie sandwiches and more from their small but mighty space. We have enjoyed our two last visits and tried the varying quiches and oatmeal cream pie. I'm impressed by the wide variety of items they serve up under one roof. You'll find beautiful meringue pies, bourbon pecan pie and fruit pies made from what is in season. The quiche is buttery and very decadent and they typically have around 2-3 flavors. They also have a stand at the vibrant Saturday farmers market out front in downtown Lafayette. This is what great local bakery dreams are made of

Best bakery in Lafayette! I will make any excuse to go downtown just so I can make a stop at Sweet Revolution. Every single thing I've tried is delicious, but my favorites are the bourbon banana bread, the oatmeal cream pie, and the gluten free cheesecake with cookie dough on top. They also have great cinnamon rolls, croissants, macarons, pies, and even chicken pot pies on some evenings. In the summer they are out at the farmers market and have great breakfast options.

It's so difficult to drive by Sweet Revolution and not pull in for a quick bite. I e never been disappointed by Sweet Rev. I love, love, love their savory croissants. I also can't say no to the salted caramel oatmeal cookies. The quiche is wonderful on a cold day. Love everything about Sweet Revolution!

YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET A GLUTEN FREE CAKE=======================================My son and future daughter-in-law needed a gluten free cake in addition to the regular cake for their wedding. My daughter-in-law told us we could get one at Revolution.But when I called the bakery whoever answered the phone was not helpful at all. I should have got her name, but she said they didn't have any gluten free cakes. She said they just have pies.Fast forward to a couple weeks later and we walked in after my daughter-in-law and her friends told us we could actually get a gluten free cake there once again. I guess in person you can actually get more information than on the phone which is sad, but true.We ended up getting a flourless chocolate cake, so it is possible to get something that is gluten free.Note to owner: Please notify your staff that you are capable of providing gluten free or flourless cakes. You may get more business in the long run.

So many tasty options!! My dad wanted a sugar cream pie, my husband wanted an oatmeal cream pie, and I needed something GF. And the GF options were amazing!

My go to for quiche, savory croissants and sweet pies! The ambiance isn't really important but the room smells divine! The people who work there have always been helpful and the service is quick and enjoyable! Solid bakery that never disappoints!!
