I love this seasonal gem located off I-70 in Veedersburg, near Turkey Run State Park and Shades State Park. Susie Q's serves up fresh burgers, dogs, chicken sandwiches, all sorts of sides, and an assortment of ice cream treats.Whether you are driving through, or spending the day at one of the State parks, Susie Q's is a must visit.

This was a great surprise when we stopped in. I shouldn't have been surprised based on the amount of locals sitting down to dinner. It's not fancy, but it's good honest food. The breaded tenderloin was excellent. Not an all timer, but honoring the Hoosier tradition. Burgers and the BLT were hits. The fried pickles were full spears and had a nice batter on them. The ice cream was another nice surprise as we shared a shake and a root beer float. We won't be near this spot often but would be happy to stop again when the weather is right.

I'm usually complaining that servings are too big, but we ordered fries, to just share as a snack, and their regular order size is pretty small. We stopped in again and I got a Coney Dog and hubby got a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Service wasn't real fast, either time... Quite a wait. Food was good. Not outstanding, but not bad. Better than McDonalds!

Located on the NE corner of 41 and State, amongst a gas station and convenience store, this is a great stop for some hot food and cold ice cream. BLT was solid, but strangely on a bun. Garlic burger was on garlic bread. Total genius. Onion rings were battered and seasoned fries were excellent. Lots of ice cream options that include soft serve and hand dipped. Peek in the back to see the awesome moms making all the great eats. Approx half hour north of Turkey Run.

We stopped on our way through Indiana for lunch. Excellent choice! The tenderloin was gigantic and very tasty! Best chicken strips my kids have had in a long time. We came right at noon and it was still very quick!

This is a hidden gem in a small town west of Indianapolis. The food is freshly made and the service is terrific! It offers a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs and of course ice cream! It is family friendly and a true 5 star!

Cute little spot and can't beat the prices. Menu is largely American Food (burgers, chicken tenders, ice cream). I got a cookie dough mixer (cookie dough mixed into vanilla soft serve) and it was pretty large. I found it too sweet to finish but hey, it's ice cream. The soft-serve was good by itself and had a nice texture. My friends got chicken sandwiches, burgers, etc, which looked rather impressive and they seemed to enjoy.Another plus is that it supports the pre-school in town.

We stopped in while traveling past... this is really good food! The tenderloin was amazing! Lots of choices on the menu and good prices. We will definitely be back.

Amazing little hidden gem out in the country! Our family stopped here for dinner after a trip to Turkey Run State Park and were quite impressed with the quality and tastiness of the food! Good quality beef burgers, delicious fries, fried pickles and perfect soft serve for dessert. Oh and the lemon shake up was just what I needed after a long hot day hiking! Super friendly and very patient service. We will definitely be back our next trip out there!

Quick easy take out! Burgers cooked perfectly! It was a chilly night and they were still busy!
