This place is at a gas station, but the food is no joke. I tried the Chili chicken. Yum. Oh and the Samosas were really good too.

As others have said, it's wild that this place is in a gas station! However, their food is consistently good! Hot fresh and plenty big portions. I have had the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken in the past. Both are very tasty and they will provide whatever spiciness level you like. My husband enjoys the curry and he said he is very happy with the spiciest level they offer.

Second visit was better. Got the samosas and the aloo gobi and Naan. Food was fantastic and perfectly seasoned. Since it's around the corner from where I live, will probably be eating here every other week or so.

Superfood used to be our go-to for Indian food when we moved to the west side 4 years ago. It was delicious and we'd order a ton of food every time we had houseguests, which was often before 2020. Once people started traveling again we ordered for our guests in 2021. We requested mild food for our sensitive family and all food was blazing spicy. New chef post pandemic? We decided to try again in a few months.Within the last year we haven't had good experiences either. For a time, it appeared to be closed. My husband called after we saw new reviews and the person on the phone said the kitchen was closed forever. Confusing! I kept seeing fresh reviews and called last week, during hours they were supposed to be open. Maybe it was all a miscommunication. A gruff man said they were closed. I had to ask if they were opening again or closed forever. He said they'd reopen Tuesday. Finally, I called tonight and someone answered! I ordered butter chicken. Picking up, I asked for a paper menu for future orders but was told no. Got home to eat and the butter chicken was syrupy SWEET and the sauce was thin, with none of the richness and flavor that makes Indian food magical. The naan seemed more like old grocery store pitas that were soggy. I'll be going to Chapati or Mint Indian in the future.

Unless you are reading the reviews, you're not likely to realize this place is inside the gas station. You may drive by three times like I did, and even wonder where it is when you walk inside. But- don't let that fool you. This place is the real deal. The cashier cooked up my food fresh as I waited. I drive the 30 plus minutes home and the food is still hot. The flavor is rich and delicious. Certainly the definition of "hole-in-the-wall", and quite possibly Brownsburg's best kept secret!

Magic is most often found in unexpected places. This sentiment is absolutely true when it comes to Superfood, an unassuming, multi-cultural eatery tucked away in the corner of a BP gas station at the intersection of Hornaday and E. Main/Crawfordsville in Brownsburg.Although Superfood offers a variety of ethnic options, including Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, and American, we opted to sample a variety of the vegetarian Indian dishes. Best. Decision. Ever. Samosas - GIANT, filled with delicately seasoned potatoes and peas, and served with a generous, spicy portion of chana masala, scoops of a tangy sweet sauce and mint chutney, and a small spiced salad.Saag - gloriously seasoned with that difficult-to-obtain smooth-creamy texture, and available with mushrooms, seasoned potatoes, or paneer (we tried the potato and paneer, and the paneer was some of the best I've had).Vegetable biryani - made with jeweled rice, rather than the long grain I'm used to, and more saucy than I typically see, with excellent flavor, and served with a large side of creamy tomato-based sauce.Naan - again, fabulous, buttery flavor, chewy texture, and slightly more dense than I'm used to, which is not at all a bad thing. The portion sizes are HUGE, which is wonderful as they provide compartmentalized to-go boxes, allowing us to enjoy this delicious and unexpected discovery again the following day.As an added bonus, if you choose to eat-in at the handful of picnic tables near the windows, you may be treated to a complimentary soft-drink, and both naan and basmati rice, rather than having to choose between the two.Magic is all around us, especially at Superfood, and I have no doubt you too will find it there.

Best damn gas station gyro I've ever had.Thats right, this is a BP gas station that has a food counter. Street food of the Indian, Mexican, and Greek cusines are available. I got a gyro platter that came with fries. It tasted good but sat in my stomach like a brick for several hours afterwards. Maybe a little heavy. But the Indian food looked as good as I see at most sit down buffet places. I think that's the stuff to go with. I'll try that next time.Prices are reasonable making it a nice hit-n-run place for a cheap lunch.

Who would ever know that inside this gas station is a food area that sells gyros & other food items. The gyros are so good. This is my go to place when I have the taste for one.

I had to go five stars. I just had to and I'm doing it without regret. This amazing lil restaurant cafe tucked into a gas station is not weird! It's unusual for the Midwest and, okay, probably a lil weird for Brownsburg, but the concept is old school! Walking in reminded me of gas stations back in NY with a deli or other type of cafe tucked into the corner. In true fatty fashion, I had to try it all. The gyro blew my mind! It's the best gyro in Indianapolis. The cream sauce is herbaceous and just perfectly garlicky. Crisp red onions and bright red tomatoes brought an unbelievable freshness. The samosas are legit! Huge, flavorful, and stuffed with veggies they want you to dunk them in the chutney. The chickpeas served with them were a delicious surprise. Winner. Winner. Butter Chicken Dinner! Wow. I could do the backstroke in that sauce. (I just had a taste because I filled up by shoving that entire delicious gyro into my pie whole.)Naan smelled heavenly and was a buttery pillow. I think it's not freshly made in house, but I did not care! These people are taking fresh ingredients and turning them into amazing food... inside of a gas station. Embrace it. Oh, my British husband grew up eating Indian food like we Hoosiers ate tenderloins, and he said that this is the best Indian food he's had in the US.

Keeping it simple, I really enjoyed the flavors of the food I tried. I went with a Combo Special that came with a side of fries and a jumbo drink. I don't know enough about the cuisine here to tell you what kind of meat it had (some lamb blend, I would guess) or what the white sauce was (it was delicious!) All I know is that the kitchen is openly visible and I could see one of the staff shave the thin layers of meat for my meal right after my order. The veggie toppings I had him add were all fresh and tasty (even if the tomato was on the pinkish side). And the base of the gyro (Naan?) was light as a pancake, sturdy enough to be picked up and eaten that way, or tender enough to be easily cut through with the self serve plastic ware. There is a very strange vibe here mixing what could be a very nice dining experience with the inner workings of gas station. The seating is not near the order counter (not even in the line of sight) which makes it weird to sit while waiting for your order to come up. Even when I mentioned it was a "to go" order, I had to ask about napkins/plastics and forgot to get any salt packets for my crispy fries which were basically salt free.If they could work on customer service a bit and make the restaurant part fit together with the seating they could be a five star experience. Right now, I would only recommend orders to go.Review #825

Amazing Indian food out of this gas station. Got the lamb curry and it was absolutely phenomenal. Spicy, rich, and not oily. The lamb chunks were tender, and not fatty. It was freshly prepared as I ordered it by a friendly guy in the back. Served with naan- which was more like a flatbread/pita than traditional tandoori naan but it was still good. Might order rice if you want all home made. Seriously worth the stop!
