Sunrise Family Restaurant

This is your typical small town breakfast place. There is a good menu selection with omelets, skillets, French toast, waffles, platters, and pancakes. I would say anything was super unique but it was all good. Service was also great. We never ran out of our drinks and she continued to ask if we needed anything else. It was quick, in and out. The ambiance is just a small town feel.

Great food! Went there to meet some friends and have lunch. It was my first time there and won't be my last!

Food is disgusting stop the stir fry shrimp and the meatloaf distrusting wouldn't even feed it to my dog and they charged me for it when I never ate it

Food was very bland. I ordered a cheese omelet-it had American cheese - really? Give me cheddar! That's a cheap move. Hash browns were not crispy. My husband ordered the sausage and biscuits-very bland. Overall, very marginal. We should have just gone to Chick-fil-A

These guys are the quintessential diamond-in-the-rough American diner experience. Rundown outside, extensive dictionary of a menu (hard to follow I'll admit, that would be my only criticism), and most importantly all kinds of good food! Steaks, classic breakfast options, and everything in between - gyros, sandwiches, and more were all hidden in the menu. You could tell the chef cares about the food and was proud of the menu, made very well. The service was INCREDIBLE. Constant refills of coffee, menu suggestions, and a super friendly environment.

Good food nice waitresses and owner. Eggs were very good, the sausage links were fantastic. A waitress when leaving and paying asked if I needed a drink to go. Had a coffee refill to go. Owner is a very friendly nice man.

The best biscuits and gravy in the area!! Our server Jessica was friendly and attentive. The coffee was excellent- I had both regular and decaf. This will now be our breakfast spot when we come to Terra Haute

Food isn't bad for a small town. Coffee is watered down and not good. The service was great. Our server checked on us often and got us everything we needed.

Amazing everything their Skillets are very much the best thing they got there love this place.

The food can be good, the food can be not so good. SFR has a consistency issue. If they get tighter control of the menu and personnel, I would rate more stars.
