Sunlake Apartments

I have lived in Sunlake Apartments since December of 2021. The staff is very responsive with maintenance. Everyone in the neighborhood is friendly and I love my neighbors. Living right by the Nickel Plate Trail allows me to walk right to work. I'm so glad I moved into this complex.

I LOVE living here. I moved here in August and this is my first time living alone and the experience has been great. The staff is so pleasant and the apartment community is very well kept. It is very quiet,sometimes I forget I have neighbors. Haha i highly suggest sunlake apartments!

The staff was amazing and always responded on time, but we had quite a few pest issues (silverfish/roaches) that even with the exterminator coming once a month did not leave. The AC unit never got below 76 degrees on hot days after multiple service calls. VERY friendly neighborhood and people. We always felt safe and welcome. We did live back near the woods, so pests were expected, but felt it was almost infested between exterminator visits. Lesley was wonderful in addressing any issues which were minimal aside from the pest problem. No traffic sounds even being so close to the highway.

They know problems they don't fix.They charge for "updates" but the items are different in every apartment.Both of the fountain motors are underneath bedroom windows.They pick and choose who to harass about items on the porch. They claim to have stocked ponds (fish) never in my 5 or 6 years there have I seen this happen. I have had to act as a steward and run people off that are fishing that don't live there off. These are things that have come to mind. They ban old tenents from coming back to visit old neighbor's.Anonymous

We lived in a furnished apartment for a few months in between moves and Sunlake was a great experience. They were all extremely helpful in arranging our stay from long distance and especially with Covid were taking all precautions! The apartment was very well stocked and all the great walking space was great for us and our small dog! We look forward to coming back when we visit our children next summer!Robyn and Kevin Shafer 8/24/2020

Stayed in a furnished apartment for several months. It was clean, well stocked, nice furniture, quite, pleasant neighbors and nice areas to walk. The kitchen dishes and utensils needed cleaning. But a run through the dishwasher took care of that. We moved in very quickly and probably hurried them.
