It's been 4 years, and I've taken our relationship for granted. I want to make it right, because I love you as much as you seem to love me Sun King. You've given me soooo many new beers over the years. Cherry Busey is on the "Point" of "Breaking" me. I will continue to give you many dead Presidents in exchange for its piquant pleasure on the palate. You've added spirits. You tirelessly invent new cocktails and concoctions. Super Cherry Cola brought a tear to my eye at Artomobilia this weekend - so sweet, so tasty. You hire the best servers and you train them so that their beer knowledge has no peer. Speaking of sweet, there was a server named Sara that knew her stuff, and despite the crowds, was wonderfully attentive. And, that smile...The food hasn't seemed to change much, but some things in a relationship need to be the bedrock. And La Margarita for me always pairs well with your delicious drinks. So, thank you Sun King Carmel. I love you for you, and because of the way you love me.

Fantastic spot for drinks after work, especially since they have ample seating inside and out along with food options. Service has always been spot on and never have to wait too long for a beer! One of these days I'm going to venture out of IPA land into the land of other styles of Sun King beer.

We were on vacation and popped in here. Very unique location with lots to do. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a flight. The staff were fairly attentive but didn't attempt to connect with us.

Small group party last night at Sun King. Their concept is not one I have used before but we had a great time. Ordering food from multiple places and having to pick up when ready was odd to me but it works I suppose. Pizza we ordered was good! Not a beer drinker but others were and enjoyed what they had. I had a cosmo and enjoyed it. Would return!

We went as a group for a corporate work trip. Initially, I wasn't satisfied because the bartender with the spiky hair didn't take our order. Instead he said our order window is in the event room and he would take our order there when they finished setting it up. Obviously we came to the bar because we didn't want to wait for set up to finish. I thought it was just kinda rude and our orders should've been taken.Furthermore, the event space was poorly decorated. There were over a dozen people and 3 of the tables of the 6 didn't have chairs. I would like to fellowship while sitting down, not stand up after being at a work event today. The set up of the event food was sooo backwards. All the toppings for the taco were at the beginning of the line. The tortilla shells were at the end and nachos. We only had one size plates so by the time we made it to the dip and tortillas, the plates were full. The arrangement didn't make sense and forced you to go back through the line to dress your taco. The salad had no dressing at all. The taco tortillas were corn only (no flour options for this huge work crowd). Couple of colleagues wanted beer.. this is a brewery. Hardly any suggestions were made. There was an older gentleman assisting the spiky haired guy and he was very nice. He did come and periodically pick up plates. However, we didn't have a waiter in the event room so plates did pile up and cups. The chicken was dryer than a communion cracker. The event space was decorated so poorly, no effort. Honestly, I would not recommend this place due to the service and the "mehh" food. Everyone did love the beef for the tacos & the drinks were pretty good. I had a margarita (not a beer drinker but my colleagues enjoyed the beer). If we come back, we will not select this place because we are happy to spend but treat us like you'd like us to spend and come back. Make recommendations and provide assistance. Have a waiter for big parties in the event room. Provide adequate seating. Have a bartender who knows how to interface with large groups and can bartend and service people with finesse and alacrity. From Texas to Indy!

Went for dinner with my husband and parents. This was not what we were looking for this evening, it was loud and a bit overwhelming for my parents, but it was a neat space that I would love to return to with just my husband or friends. We ordered drinks and were (pleasantly) surprised at the table service - not only did they find us to deliver our drinks to the table, but returned several times to check on us, offered to clear away our empty trays and brought us more drinks including bottles to go. I'd never had Sun King before, and I was impressed - their Carmel Apple Triple was fabulous.

If you always have a hard time nailing what you want to eat or someone is craving pizza but you want tacos, Sun King Carmel has all the options Loads of seating -- when the weather is nice I love their upper deck seating where you get a nice view of Midtown Carmel. They have weekday deals ($5 pints are a fave) and flight options as well! I love ordering calamari which is served with the sweet Asian chili sauce (like firecracker shrimp sauce if you're familiar) the batter on the calamari lacks a bit of seasoning but otherwise super yummy! The service is always nice and welcoming and everyone does a great job checking in on all their guests to make sure everyone is satisfied.

A neat food hall, bars with a handful of eateries around a recreation oriented artificial lawn. This place was busy on a Saturday night. We went back on Sunday night it was very tame then. They have a giant screen with the college football game on. Table tennis, billiards. Where was the game of bags? It's a neat place to enjoy brews and watch the games. But no games on the big screen Sunday (good thing Bears were lost to the Chiefs 41-10). They did have that at the SunKing bar. The queue for the food hall (La Margarita and the Den) were painfully long and took a whole for the food to come out when busy.

Let's Be Friends - Indy hosted a Book Club at Sun King Carmel where over 40 people showed up! They had tons of space for us to push together tables, the management were really kind and supportive, the food and drinks were great and they also personally reached out to the group on Instagram later. Such a fun place for meet-ups and good drinks!

I was excited to go to Sun King because I've been in the IND airport before & had a few beers I enjoyed. The atmosphere was great with two stories of seating both indoors & outdoors, as well as the three food stands to order from. The poutine & the beers were good, meeting expectations for why we went there. Our server was interesting because he kept forgetting what we asked for in our flights & what he had already poured for our flights I'm not sure why there wasn't an option for us to write them down, but that would EASILY fix the issue and the weird experience that was for us. We were impressed by the Pickle Beer, Palomaloma & the Coffee Blonde.
