Stronger Market

Is now "Stronger Market". All of the employees have been kind.Their meat prices are okay, although I'm not exactly sure where they source their meat from. I've asked and no one really seems to know. The meat counter is a work in progress, it sometimes appears to have condensation slowly dripping from the top of the glass.The price on the shelf is 90% of the time lower than the actual price that said item rings up. Super frustrating. Check expiration dates, I find expired items for sale in there frequently.I have also noticed that they seem to buy close-out items and produce from various stores; Walmart, Aldi, Kroger, etc.. and then place them for sale in their store for a higher price. Some things are priced outrageously and some things are priced super reasonably. I literally only shop here because of the location and all of the other markets on this side of town are gone.

This Market has changed owners and is now called Stronger's Market. The meat department is not like it was, there has been no upgrades in years and half the chillers don't work. Prices are way to high!!

Nice place, friendly people. Went in to get my dog some raw bones to chew on. Had everything I needed

Decent selections of just the essentials when it comes to food. Staff behind the meat counter were friendly but the prices are better other places. Other than that not much stands out about this location.

Strong's is "THE Meat Market" in Anderson! They have the best prices and great quality meat. I have been going there to get meat since I was little kid. I have lived in NYC, CIN, CHI, INDY and this is still one of my favorite meat markets!

I shopped here regularly for the past 20 years even before we moved to West side. The best price and flavor in bacon! We don't buy bacon any where else. Before I exclusively bought meat at Strongs my husband use to say wow this is really good and I would say I got it at Strongs. Then he started saying wow this is really good, I know..... it's from Strongs! The market has changed hands but the basic meat seems to be the same. You wont find better steaks, hamburger, chicken, or pork! My favorite and a guest favorite is to get chicken remove any fat and place in zip lock bag with italian salad dressing, marinate over night and grill next day.

Went today to get a Boston butt for $2.49 a pound as advertised. They insisted on charging me $2.99 a pound. I left never to go back again. They tried to overcharge the lady in front of me for some ribs. Use caution and double check. They are rip off artist. Been going there for over 30 years and it has gone downhill significantly. So sad. Back in the day Steve Remington was the meat manager and ran the place flawlessly.

The meat dept is not friendly & seldom has cube steaks available & don't want to cut them for you. When it was Strongs, they took good care of you.

The meat department seems to be the same but the new owner has to be the most rude person I've ever encountered. I'm finished buying here. It's not "Strong's" anymore. It's called "Stronger" which is lame. I feel bad for folks who have to use this store because everything on that side of town has closed.......
