Stone Soup Inn

We ended up starting our vacation a day early and got to our destination in Indy that eve. Checked yelp and found this little gem at 7:30 pm. Called and told David we needed a place to sleep and he went right to work getting our room ready. If u are ever in Indy stay here, such a better experience than a hotel, breakfast was a continental but we sat at an actual dining room table with china, glassware and utensils. No paper plates there. And we talked with 4 people who were visiting the area. It was wonderful. David is a great host, and the stay was a 10 +

Such a quaint little spot hidden away just minutes from downtown! David put me at ease regarding security and Kalman made my stay comfortable... will be back!

I just hosted a group of 8 individuals for 2 weeks for a business event and we loved every detail at the Stone Soup Inn. The front desk staff were all very friendly, the location was fantastic, and the rooms were perfect for our stay. The best part of our trip was the innkeeper David, he attended to our every need and was part of our group by the end of the 2 weeks. We will definitely be back again next year!

Such a great place. Wonderful location in a historic neighborhood, adorable structure, and the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. I stayed in a lofted room on the top floor and it was so unique and cozy and clean. Really one of a kind. Special shout out to Dwayne and Pam who were absolutely lovely.

as a first time visitor of Indianapolis, this place exceeded my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. They even leave you an "after hours" number to call for anything you need! I do recommend specifically *calling* (if you have to), as I tried to text the number given about the guest in the room next door to mine (i stayed in the SE loft, them in the NE loft) smoking weed in their room. I didn't get a reply back so I'm not sure if the message came through or not. The rooms are very clean and genuinely taken care of. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a more personal and unique room in the city. This was a great place to stay for New Years Eve. I already can't wait to come back!

Wonderful staff and innkeeper David took time to give us the story of the home, we appreciated his time.Very clean, walkable, enjoyed the Victorian homes and close to restaurants.Free parking, breakfast buffet, boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, bagels, fruit and juices. Beautiful home!

Adorable! We've never been to Indy and this place is amazing, gives the feel of a historic mansion with modern amenities. The host, David, is friendly, knowledgeable, and a perfect town guide that knows plenty of spots in the area. Walking distance from Chatham Arch, make sure you get a loft!

I booked the Craftsman room for a Saturday night stay. The entire experience was wonderful. I loved the neighborhood (great for a run and within a mile to a bunch of great restaurants), appreciated the parking, my room was lovely and I was surprised by a beautiful breakfast basket on Sunday morning. Dwayne, the innkeeper, is the absolutely best. He made my stay so special. He was super helpful and a joy to get to know. He does a great job keeping everything running and was super responsive, going over and above.

Horrible customer service who belittles people and makes them so uncomfortable they have to leave a day early. Definitely not worth the money and will never recommend this place to anyone.
