Man Cave for the guys to hang out in during the day.
Outdoor rustic ceremony area.
Close up of our chandelier that may be rented for the pergola.
They set up tables for 100 along the south and west side of the room which left plenty of dance floor.
View from the back.
Large picture windows and tall ceilings made a beautiful backdrop for a picturesque country wedding.

I attended this venue for the first time last Saturday, for a lovely outdoor wedding. The grounds were beautiful and the timing was perfect. It was a 4:35 wedding, so it was starting to cool off. They have an arbor under which the bridal party stood, and the attendees face west. But because of the tree line for the woods (with creek below that) that run along the west side of the building, there was beautiful speckled shade, and we were not facing any harsh sun. The grass and perennial planting beds were in very nice condition. The receiving line was held outdoors as well, at the entrance to the building on the circular drive under the large open roof. From there guests could see that the catering company (separate contract) set up the beautiful pool patio for a short reception while the wedding party and families did additional pictures. This was perfect because, inside the bar was already open and outside we had tea, water and hors d'oevres to pass the time and visit with other guests. Again, this outdoor area was lovely. There was a lot of standing room and only a handful of chairs and tables. They might consider adding more for an event like this. The front has double doors to/off the foray. Indoors, the facility is painted a cheerful yellow, and the open-beam construction is so pretty that you don't need to dress it up with a lot of decorations. The place is full of windows in the front near where the catering set up food on one side and the wedding cake on the other. But the real show stoppers are the picture windows on the west side. They set up the bridal party table in front of the windows, and I'm sure the pictures were beautiful. It's definitely got an upscale lodge feel (hence the name) with a stone hearth on the south end of the hall and a loft on the north side, where the DJ sets up. That was fun because as the wedding party was announced again at the reception they got to file down the stairs and dance across the dance floor to their seats. The staff was friendly and one even helped with cake cutting, though that apparently wasn't arranged before the event. The caterers (just okay) refused to cut the cake. The bar had a cute chalkboard display furthering the classy country vibe. One thing to consider for us ladies is to get dropped off at the front if you're in heels. The parking lot and the walk to the facility itself is course gravel. It could tear up nice shoes. Beautiful venue on pristine grounds. I just wish it was closer to Indy but I get that not everything can be!

Very nice self contained wedding/reception venue. The staff was friendly and helpful. Inside and outside it is all beautiful. They have the capability to serve sit down meals and to have a full bar.It got a little noisy for me so I took a little walk outside. I don't know who was more startled--me or the big at least ten point buck that was getting a drink if water. If you are planning an event in this area, you MUST check this place out. Two thumbs up!OMG. This place even has a dedicated propane fueled 20 kilowatt back up generator. I'm in LOVE.

Very beautiful space and staff decorate to your requests. Beware no hard Alcohol allowed..Beer and wine only. A big problem was staff s dress. Wearing jeans during the wedding. And the negative staff workers. For the price the staff should be. NICE!!! I got treated very rudely.Food was horrible and not enough served ..Food servers only gave guests a tablespoon of potatoes and maybe 6 green beans. And many guests complained and left the wedding early to go eat somewhere else..So Even if beautiful I would not recommend this venue.

This will basically be my same review as Google. First of all, I am not one to write reviews. This places is the exception! I planned a party for my brother here, it was fantastic. Everything about it, from the venue to the owners is extraordinary. The venue, the actual building and the property is beautiful. Every single person that attended ( +200) mentioned how beautiful and amazing it looked. For that reason we kept decorations to a minimum, it looked fantastic on its own. We could have gotten away with just table cloths. It is located in Crawfordsville, IN, if anything that could be considered a "downside". From my home it was about 45 mins. For us it was not a downside, our friends traveled from all over the state and even Illinois. We are party people and if your guest are anything like us, the location/distance will not be an issue. I loved the fact it has a balcony so we had our Dj there, not only did that look great but it also helped maximize the space on the first level for seating. It has a bar area but they do not provide the alcohol, they do offer recommendations for caterers. Parking - even though it's not close the building it's a lovely walk. They do have a drop off area and they also provided parking assistance in case there is an overflow. The owner Julie is fantastic. She is very flexible and helped make this not only a great party but a fantastic experience. During our setup she gave us suggestions regarding table arrangements. Julie was there the entire time answering our questions and even helping decorate. During our event she was always there if there were any problems, which there wasn't. I can honestly say there is nothing negative from my experience. I would recommend anyone interested in booking this location to do it and to talk to Julie.I would definitely book this venue for future events, it will probably be used for our annual parties. This is a new venue build just this year, I will not surprised if with in the next few years this will become difficult to book due to it's popularity. I can almost guarantee it.

I attended a family wedding here. If you are planning a wedding during the hot summer months in Indiana, I would think twice about booking this place. The air conditioners basically either stopped working or could just not keep up. We had about 250 people. I went to ask them to do something about the sweltering heat in the venue, open doors get the air conditioner to work, get more ice water ASAP, and was told there was nothing they could do and they weren't expecting so many people. How?? We gave a final headcount, we knew how many were coming. Also, the caterers ran out of food before all the guests we served. We had to order Buffalo Wild Wings to finish feeding people! The caterers were kind enough to go and get it for us, so we wouldn't miss any of the festivities, but to run out of food for our guests was really unacceptable. The bar waitstaff were VERY unfriendly and inattentive. I stood there w no line for about two minutes while a young lady was scrolling away on her phone. Finally, a gentlemen came behind the bar to serve me, and the girl barely looked up from her phone to acknowledge someone else was doing her job. I would only recommend this place for small events and definitely not a summer venue. The bride and groom were kept out of all the things going wrong, so thankfully their night was not ruined, but just about everyone else knew what was going on. We had several people leave early do to no food and the sweltering heat inside the venue. The two managers I dealt with were kind and apologetic, and I appreciate that, but it doesn't change the fact that a once in a lifetime evening was less than perfect.

This is a beautiful place to have your wedding. We got married outside and it was beautiful. Taking pictures around the grounds and on the deck made for fantastic backgrounds. The outdoor space and the indoor reception area as well as the cocktail spaces near the little ponds on the patio are all gorgeous. The bride and groom's rooms as well as a little nursery area for little ones attending were great to hang out in. Julie is great to work with and is so helpful. They also have a whole room filled with decorative items that are free to use! The staff made the whole day go so smoothly, we didn't have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend having your wedding here.

Absolutely beautiful place for a wedding! The DJ was fantastic. Many great comments on how much fun he made the reception! Very accommodating to various music requests! Thank you! I did find the owner to be unprofessional during the planning process and especially at the end of a perfect day. If you are booking an event there, BE SURE to tell ALL guests not to bring alcohol into this place. I have no prob with rules, however I do have a problem with telling the bride on her special day in an unprofessional manner she will not get her deposit back. They have cameras there, so I asked to see who was drinking the outside alcohol, they could not prove of anyone bringing a bottle into the venue. Didn't matter, lost deposit. Also requested no Christmas decorations, there were Christmas decorations.
