When I walked through the door I felt like I jumped into a time machine, taking me back to what I would assume the 70's felt like haha. They have a wide selection of vinyls that highlight all genres. It is perfect for a quick date or time with friends or anyone who loves music. Jonathan helped as at the bar & he was really cool. They serve coffee, beer & seltzers. They have a stage for live music & host different events. The highlight for me was the private booths that you can sit in & listen to your record. My only suggestion would be creating booths for groups of a larger size. Maybe something accommodating for groups of 3-4? Overall, it's a cute experience. If your love language is music like me, check them out!

Good - the vibe. Who doesn't like a record shop!! Bad - the matcha. It was too good to be true at $4.50. It was the palest green, not vibrant so probably not quality matcha sadly, and way too sweet.I'd go for a regular tea next time - they had lots of unique options. Will go back for music/vinyl but 100% skip the matcha

This is a very interesting space that offers live music, vinyl albums, and seating to enjoy various beverages. The staff member I spoke with was chill. I will be back!

Interesting place to check out if wondering around Fountain Square. Cool concept vinyls and coffee bar. Good selection and price ranges for everyone. The cheapest vinyl we bought was $3 and most expensive was $30.

Great Vinyl place. Customer service is always great been here a couple of times and the place is always clean and neat. Moreover I've done Record Store Day twice here and they are really good at. Always have free stuff and also giving away coffee and donuts which is pretty nice. Also thankfully they always get what I want on record store day. Furthermore I really recommend trying this place out.

Only went in briefly on small business Saturday, but they had an impressive selection of both new and used vinyl records. I was able to find a great Christmas able from the 60's for around $3! I plan on popping by again when the new Taylor Swift album comes out. Shop local!

This place is awesome! They have current and old, new and used vinyl records. Used have a yellow price tag and new have a white price tag. There are also two different listening booths, that are set up in 70s vintage. The rules for listening to a record: Must be an unopened, used (yellow tag) record, priced at under $100. At the rear of the store is also a coffee shop, several tables to hang out or do remote work, and a stage for performances. This is a cool place to check out.

I usually pop in to Square Cat before I see a show at the Hifi. They serve coffee and beer in the back which is awesome. I've working my way through trying all of their different coffees! Haven't had a bad one yet. Whilst drinking my coffee I peruse the 1000s of albums they have. If you are looking for something chances are Square Cat has it! New releases, super old, the Good Will Hunting soundtrack, the list goes on and on. Last time I went was with a buddy for a show. They put on concerts on this little stage in the back opposite of the bar. Ghost Funk Orchestra killed it in there. So did the opener who I'm blanking on....There are surprisingly good acoustics for it being a record store! Definitely come check out a show sometime. Or stop in to buy some records. Or just get a good coffee or beer!

Vinyl is making a comeback and there is no better place to start that comeback than here. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. They were truly the best. The sell all types of wax. Is that still the term, wax? Anyway, the store is well organized and very clean. They have a huge selection of new and used tracks. They also have 2 cubicles that are set up with lounge chairs, record players and headphones were you can sit and listen. The shop doubles as a coffee shop and serves coffee and pastries and has a small dining area and bar seating available to hang out. There is a stage in the dining area where, I assume that they have acoustic vocalist, poetry and other cool/hip stuff there on certain days. There is free street parking in front of the store and on nearby streets. I will be the first to admit that records are a bit pricer than you digital download, but I hear that the sound is very different and more crisp. As an added bonus they have some extended hours, 8 P to 8 A on most days. I am glad that I stumbled onto this place. It is nice to checkout, even if you are not a record guy or gal. I highly recommend this place.

It's such a cool vibe. To be able to get a hot or iced coffee, maybe just a cold beer as you hang out. Check out the records and what's new. Best of all tho... seeing live shows. The sound quality is really good in there. Plus, the staff is great. They're super nice.
