Southfork Restaurant & Pub

We went in hopes of a unique experience and a stand alone tenderloin. The menu had lots of options. We had the following,Apps fried pickles and onion rings were decent but nothing out of the ball park.2 breaded tenderloin sandwiches lacked flavor but were cooked well.Blue Gill filets seemed to be a hitRibeye cooked perfect and nicely charred however sides were Mac and cheese which was a bust. Drinks were great especially the Bloody Mary As far as food the place gets a 2/5 but the service and ambiance gets 4/5. We will return for another shot!

Another great lunch. Super friendly staff. My wife and I split a tenderloin and was it good. The onion rings are delicious. They make the onion rings here and they were perfect today. Nice cool air conditioning on a hot day. Clean restroom. I'll be back.

The best catfish and onion rings around. Tried the fried chicken last week and, omg, so good! Portion is half a chicken so plenty to take home. Go early on fried chicken night because apparently they sometimes run out. And even though they were super busy, our server kept her cool and service was quick. She is the older of the waitressess and has a pony tail. Such a good server.The downside is now whenever I go it's going to be tough to decide if I want chicken or catfish!

This place is great...people who dine there and work there are very nice...food is excellent and you can even watch your favorite team on one of the TV's with sound on. Great place all the way around.

Quality starts by owning the productserved, one raw/one over cooked?Owner Blaming suppliers, the breading changed/cooking time must be amended... they bread their ownso QC starts at ownershipRuined a shirt from the greasy drips...Was my favorite place, not now, something is drastically changed,starting by owning what's served...Now driving by to competitors ...

Decent food, good service...menu pretty much stays the same but is dependable for a quick meal.

I can't say enough about Southforks. The quality of the food, proficiency of the staff (Ila is FANTASTIC!) and the comfort of a delightful restaurant, in a small community, is absolutely the best! Tenderloins are my favorite. Unless you are extremely hungry you better get the smaller T-loin sandwich, as the regular ones are enormous!I've been going to Southforks, for a number of years, and will continue to do so.

We ate there on a Friday night (the night of this writing). The onion rings are the best I've had in at least 30 years. Seriously. If you love made-fresh onion rings, this is your place. Hell, it's worth the drive (from Lafayette) for them alone. Fortunately, the smelt was phenomenal as well. Others in our party who had the catfish were equally impressed. The ambiance is best described as authentic down home - I loved it. Pricing is average. Drink pours were very generous. The downside? The service was kind of slow and they added some kind of charge (for credit cards probably) to our bill. I think we caught them either when someone didn't show up (for their shift) or on a particularly busy night. The ultimate question: will I go back? The answer is absolutely yes. When I do, I'll update this on the service. I know the food will still be excellent,

This is my favorite place in town because I always go to pizza king here this place has good food that I never really try like there patty melt
