Smokin' Barrel BBQ

I went there yesterday to try smoking barrel and it is absolutely awesome. I had brisket. My friend had pulled pork mac & cheese baked beans. It was amazing and banana pudding was wonderful. Prices are not bad. I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

This is an awesome barbecue joint that you will find tucked away in the Camp Sertoma Community Center Bingo Hall. There is ample parking available on the camp's compound and being that it is in a bingo hall there is more than enough seating available.They offer dine in, take out, or drive-up. They serve barbecue meat that includes, rib tips, brisket, and pulled pork. And for sides they have corn casserole, green beans, macaroni, baked beans, slaw, and mac n cheese. They also had desserts. You know I had to try their banana pudding. They only serve canned drinks (remember, this is a pop-up restaurant in a bingo hall).I ordered the rib tip dinner and a bunch of their sides to go with it. I ate my meal in the hall and it only took about 5 minutes for them to prepare it. The rib tips came with the sauce on the side and they were delicious. Cooked to perfection. Not too hard and not too soft and packed with flavor. As i right this review, I can honestly say that I cannot pick a favorite side of the many that I tried. They were all so good. There was not a weak one in the bunch. The banana pudding was on point too. They give you some decent servings at a very reasonable price.If the food was not enough, the staff is the friendliest that I have encountered in a long time. They were very welcoming, patient and helpful. They really enhanced my dining experience.If you are looking for some good barbecue with superior service, look no further. This place has a limited schedule, so find out when they will be open and run, don't walk here and get some of that good grub. I highly recommend them.

OMG! In this case it stands for Outstanding Meal Greatness. This place is very off the beaten path and very much of a surprise. If I told you that one of the best barbeque places in Indy was in a BINGO Hall, I can guess the look you would give me. Prepare to have your mind changed.Smokin' Barrel operates out of the Seratoma Club on Brookville Road. They operate a thriving take out business or, if us, you are too far away to do take out, you can make yourself at home in the attached BINGO Hall.The food is amazing. The brisket is tender, soft and moist. It has the perfect bark and a beautiful smoke ring. The flavor is some of the best Indiana has to offer. The tips are well flavored and nicely cooked. They offer a variety of sides and the green beans, mac and cheese and slaw we tasted had a great hometown feel and delivered a ton of flavor.Try them soon. Your meal will be memorable.

We ordered food from Smokin' Barrel BBQ a handful of times and have never been disappointed! They are unique in that you pre-order online, stating your food order and the time of pickup, you pull up to the building in front of the door (or in the line) and someone comes to your car window to ask your name and brings out your order. We typically park in their parking lot and eat while it's hot. My husband is crazy for their pulled pork dinner which provides a generous serving of pulled pork and always with baked beans and corn casserole. Hubby says theirs is "fabulous"! I only ever get the one pound of rib tips and no sides. Fill my belly with as many rib tips as I can stuff in there! Delicious!Great food, generous portions and the friendliest staff ever! Good people putting out a quality product! If you don't know how delicious Smokin' Barrel BBQ is, get on down there and try it. I'd venture to say it's probably the best BBQ in Indianapolis!

I honestly can't say too much be cause I only had one little portion of meats no sides. Smoking barrel was set up at the blues beer and BBQ fest in Cumberland. I had the meat sampler. Everything had great smokey flavor and was perfectly seasoned and juicy. I had a bit too much fat and bones on my brisket but there was plenty of good meat so I really need to try them out again at their location

Best BBQ in Indy!!! Love the owners. Love all the meats...........But its the sides that are extraordinary. I hate cole slaw but I love their cole slaw. My son hates green beans but he loves their green beans. Their baked beans and mac and cheese are excellent. And save room for the banana pudding. I used them for my daughter's graduation open house party and will be using them for my son's this year. It is so easy to order and the food is always excellent. Love the New Palestine location as well.

Delicious! I ordered the lunch special online and I got a good amount of food and it was really good. I demolished that brisket sandwich

Wonderful brisket and pulled pork! The corn casserole and potato salad are our favorites.

The ribs are tender, juicy, and have the best flavor of any we have tried in or around Indianapolis. The brisket melted when you bit into it, too. The unexpected winner was the macaroni and cheese.
