This is a new spot for us but decided to try the barbecue with friends as close to the house and who doesn't love Barbecue?!?It is a bit hard to determine where to order given the large space once you walk in, but they have a counter with a chalkboard menu to the left along the wall. They have a TON of choices and a lot of great sounding sides. The best deals are either platters or meals, as they come with sides and drinks. But they also offer specials during the week which makes things interesting. We got fried chicken breast (as out of all other chicken options almost) with a side of coleslaw. Tasty but a bit dry on the chicken. They do have at least 6 sauces to use (self serve) so that helped but I'd probably try another option next time. I'm more of a heavily seasoned preference if going to go for chicken, so found it also a bit bland. But well cooked and fresh! The sides of several others were great with a lot of variety so you can mix and match. Everyone ate the majority of their meals, so I think it went over well as a new option. The portions are large for the price so you won't go away hungry for sure!It is worth checking out and I appreciate their commitment to Barbeque.

I was sitting around one Christmas Eve Eve, right after a small snow storm and started to crave some barbecue. Mind you that I had a refrigerator full of food. Well anyway, I was perusing social media and saw a post from this restaurant saying they were open and ready for business. I took that as a sign or some divine intervention and loaded up my truck and trecked the icy roads to get my Barbecue fix. This place is more than a catering business. They have barbecue, pies, and cookies. They also have a decent sized dining area with a television. There are also a couple of tables outside in front of the restaurant, but it was way too cold for that. They have a decent sized parking lot that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall that it is in.The restaurant offers catering, carry out and dining in. I got carry out. They have fried chicken, ribs, ham, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and steaks. They also have macaroni, green beans, collard greens, potato salad, backed beans, french fries, and baked potato. If that was not enough, they have a self-serve barbecue sauce station with a wide assortment of sauces to choose from. I ordered a brown sugar baked ham sandwich with a side of collard greens and baked beans. I also got a heat and serve chili and meatloaf for Christmas dinner. My ham sandwich was packed with meat. It was overflowing. It was delicious, very flavorful and tasty. The baked beans very also very tasty and had a bit of a kick to them, just like I like it. The collard greens were sweet as advertised, they had a slight vinegar taste, but not too strong. It has a distinct taste and I liked it a lot.The sweets and their barbecue sauces are all made in house and are mmmmm, mmmm delicious. My favorite sauce was their hot honey sauce. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed them. This is not only a very nice spot to have your catering needs met, but to eat some nice Q. It may not look like much on the outside, but there is a lot of deliciousness on the inside. I highly recommend checking this place out.

There is potential here, but our first visit was a bit meh. It wasn't underwhelming but it wasn't overwhelming. I understand restaurants struggle to find and keep good consistent servers and help, but we counted at least six people working and only four guests. We were two of them. The ordering area was a bit of a mess. They have a sauce bar in pump containers. There was sauce all over the counter and floor. One of the pumps was broken, so it had a nice constant drip. The dinning area was half full of empty coolers on wheels and empty buffets. A couple of guys were pulling these in from the parking alley thru the back door. It took 13 minutes for one of them to take our order. The person taking our order was super friendly and offered suggestions since this was our first time visiting. 13 minutes may not sound like a long time, but this isn't a place where you enter, get seated, and wait for a server. You enter, stand at the counter, and wait for someone to come take your order. There were several paper menus on the counter that we read while waiting. For a BBQ place, they have a lot of options. Or so we thought. Make sure to look or ask what they have available that day because some of the sides weren't available. Once we ordered we waited another five minutes to prepare our tray. They handed us our food and drinks and we went to sit down. The person that gave us our food was very pleasant and helped us find plasticware and straws. Plenty of seating inside and two small tables out on the sidewalk. We ordered the Three Little Piggies. Three choices of meat and three sides. We ordered their brisket, pulled pork, and jalapeño cheddar sausage for the meats. Corn casserole, Mac and cheese, and vinegar slaw for our sides. The portion sizes were nice. This meal was big enough to serve 4. The Mac and cheese was good, the vinegar slaw was ok, and the corn casserole was more cornmeal than corn. The brisket was pulled not sliced. They were out of sliced brisket that day. It was ok. The pulled pork was good especially with some of their sauces. The all star of the meal was the jalapeño cheddar sausage. It was great. Spicy and tender with a good snap on the casing. They have some alcoholic drinks and a soda fountain, so we found something we liked to drink. One very nice thing was the coupon received when we checked in on Yelp. Make sure to check in before you order! We will go back sometime soon and try it again.

We got the family platter- pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, potato salad, garlic toast, white cheddar Mac and cheese w/ chives and bacon, and 4 bbqs- Carolina, Alabama white, spicy, and XXX. Servings are very large. It says it feeds 8-10 and it definitely fed us (5) with lots of left overs. Loved everything but the Mac and cheese. It was a very soft consistency, like it was cooked too long and didn't have any flavor. It was kind of upsetting but the rest was delicious! As did bbqs: Carolina you could taste mustard and it was good Alabama was yummy and had a little spice Spicy wasn't too hot- my favorite Didn't try XXX but those with me thought spicy was hotter Will be back!

I had heard good things about Smokehouse. I decided to try it for lunch. I decided on the lonesome dove platter which gets you a meat 2 sides and garlic bread or a bun. I got pulled pork, coleslaw, potato salad and a bun. It was a little expensive for lunch, but oh so worth it! Even without sauce, the pulled pork was so delicious. It was seasoned and wasn't dried out. The coleslaw and potato salad was also delicious. We will definitely be back.

My family and I had lunch here today, we all enjoyed our meals just a bit on the pricey side for lunch $60 or so is a bit much for lunch! Not to make a big deal about this but they could have it a bit warmer, it was a bit cold when we were there, hard to get comfortable when you're cold. The staff were all friendly and the restaurant is decorated nicely, I really like that they give you so much more food than Johnson's BBQ, so you feel you at least get your money's worth for the most part. One other thing they could do better is have a kids menu, all my 10 year old wanted to eat were sides because they really didn't have anything that she wanted to eat.Other than that we really like this bbq restaurant and I'm sure we'll be back more times.

A great local and family-owned choice for barbecue. As soon as the weather starts warming up, I want summer food. Today that meant pulled pork and baked beans. They are open for carryout at their location on Friday's and Saturday's from 11am-7pm. They also offer catering daily for all types of events, from 10 to 2500 guests.Smokehouse Catering Co popped up on DoorDash and I'm always excited to try something new. The baked beans were perfectly spicy and my favorite part of the meal. Somehow I just discovered the awesomeness that is vinegar-based barbecue sauce at the ripe old age of 33 and I have been missing out. The vinegar bbq sauce here was tangy and you could see all the spices mixed in. It short, it was delicious. The marinated cucumbers were both spicy and sweet. The pulled pork sandwich was ginormous and flavorful. The ham sandwich came with a super thick piece of brown sugar ham that was flavored well.Everything was extremely reasonably priced and, with the amount of food, a great value for the price. My only complaint was that the bottom bun was soggy which probably has more to do with the amount of time it took DoorDash to pick it up and deliver it. My mom thought that the ham had just a little too much fat and that the Mac and cheese was super creamy, but wasn't as cheesy as she prefers.

One star says not good, I'd go as far as to say really, really, really, not good. Got a lb of brisket, pulled pork and garlic bratwurst, one of the sauces was ok. Brats had no garlic flavor, pork was dry and out of the 5 slices of brisket I got one was pure fat. I wanted to like this joint but it not good, they have a 20% off check in but of course I paid full price because I didn't see it till later. No sour grapes here, save your money, or at least pay 20% less.

Smokehouse is pretty decent for BBQ. I've watched them grow from this teeny tiny mostly catering business. They recently have moved into a new space with plenty of room to grow. After some shopping I stopped in about an hour before closing hoping to get some ribs. Sadly they were out of ribs, but they did have some delicious looking smoked pork, chicken, and brisket. I bought 1/2 pound of each thinking I'd go home and make some sandwiches. I also picked up a quart of Mac and cheese, green beans, and au gratin potatoes. They had a choice of 4 different sauces (sadly there were out of spicy) - I just choose all four - they were delicious. It was a great quick meal at home.Ohh and the 20% off coupon that popped up on Yelp was a fabulous surprise!
