This bar had exactly what I was looking for in a small town establishment. The bartender (Justice) was extremely attentive in what every one of her patrons needed and was prompt with her delivery. She handled in what I considered a larger than normal delivery for customer expectations with an expeditious manner that surprised me. The town is set in a quaint community that has a very steadfast clientele of locals which resonated throughout the night. If I ever decided to rest myself in an establishment after a long day of strenuous work, it will be in here.

Typical downtown tavern with exceptional bar food. The standard fair, 1/2 burgers, tenderloins, fried cauliflower, onion petals, mushrooms etc. Everything thing is cooked to order. This is a smoking establishment! The bar is dark, jukebox can be loud, and the variety ppl can range from one spectrum to the other. However, if you find yourself downtown Wabash; hungry and or thirsty and the other two restaurants are closed i would recommend Smittys. Some ppl may say it's a little on the seedy side. The bartender, Diane does a great job cooking tending bar and socializing.

We went here and they were out of grilled chicken, tenderloin, ice tea and jalepeno. The girl was nice, the burger was ok. Price was okThe reply to this was poor. Like I said the day that we were there, it was about 12:30 in the afternoon and many many supplies were not in the bar. Like I said, we tried to order a tenderloin a grilled chicken strips jalapenos iced tea, again and again she said they were out. The reply from a proprietor to a complaint should not be that somebody else like them just fine. That's not the reply that you want to hear. Apparently this place has poor management. I wouldn't go here if you are hungry, hopefully one of the other restaurants in Wabash will be open but don't go to Wabash on a Monday because nearly everything is closed. The people in Wabash were friendly of course! The girl did a decent job but I won't be back to this restaurant even though we come through the area often

Fairly recently moved to Wabash. We happened in on a night with a live band & I actually loved this place! However, I am not a pretentious person - but I wouldn't think you'd even attempt to enter if you were. I love "hole in the wall" joints, with laid back people that are okay with getting loud and having a good time - and this was it. There were a lot of locals that were familiar with each other - but if you yourself, smile and are friendly - you are well received. Not a place one would want to go into with an attitude. I've been told since to stay away from Smittys, because a lot of trouble comes out of here. My opinion? Don't go in looking for trouble & you won't receive any. I'm just glad I experienced it before hearing what some other people had to say. Keep a friendly sense of humor & your expectations low and let these people surprise you.
