First visit to the pumpkin patch with her Mamaw.
Hubby and I got a cute photo together in the wagon, just like the kids.
So spoopy!

Authentic pumpkin patch where you pull pumpkins and gourds right off the vines. Great place for kids to go to get to see a real farm with live farm animals in a petting zoo. No commercial stuff trying to sell other things just an awesome farm with a sandbox, play ground, hayrides, and lots of family photo opportunities.

Smith Family Farms has been a Fall tradition for our family for as long as I can remember. With our children all being teen-adult now, we hadn't been for a few years. So this year, we finally got to enjoy it again, as a family. But this year, grandbabies joined us! At $5 a head, we had an enjoyable afternoon together. We didn't check out the corn maze, nor do pony rides. But we did enjoy some prime family photo time in the pumpkin patch, while picking out a few small pumpkins for the grand daughters. Compared to the cost of pumpkins in the store, they are a little higher. But you do get the experience of picking your own and supporting a local small business. Our granddaughter that's mobile enjoyed every bit of the sensory buffet available. From the play equipment, to dancing to the live music, and petting and interacting with the farm animals. She had a great time sliding down the huge pile of hay, over and over, by the pumpkin patch. We found the concessions to be a bit of a bummer. They didn't offer a lot of the great fall treats like they use to. And you can only use a card if you're spending at least $5. So when we all started to get thirsty and have the nibbles, we left and moved to our next destination.
