Very tasty BBQ ribs. Tried the pulled pork also and it was very good. I tried 4 of the homemade sauce's and dipped my ribs in a different one each time. Loved them all. Very friendly. Food came out quickly. They sell out of food so plan on getting there close to opening. The burnt ends are fantastic. They have a bar, a few tables, a pool table. Gentleman checked on us and was wanting to find out if we enjoyed our meal. This is value for the money. We all walked out full. They have a parking lot. Check hours before visiting.

We had the brisket, pulled chicken, cheese mac, potato salad, and beans. The brisket was very good ditto the chicken. Both are Nicely smoked and tender. My husband liked all the sides I thought the beans with the added corn were just ok... The thing they do which I commend is they sell out what they cooked that day and then close. If the restaurant is small I worry about the age of the food. This food is always fresh. I'm not a big meat person but I would eat here again.

BEST IN NORTHERN INDIANA!!!After months of being prodded by J to make the drive from Lafayette to Frankfort I am very surprised and glad we did. This is by far the best all around Smoke house I have visited in the area. Beats the pants off D&R and South Street!I had the three meat plate so I could try my favorites. Now the brisket, as a Texas Mesquite Burner myself this really satisfied me even though I'm fairly certain they only use Hickory which my smoker spits out of its fire box. This brisket was tender with a better smoke than anyone else offers. OOOOOO BOY, Tender tender. It wasn't Texas Brisket but I loved it! The turkey was a tad salty but Juicy and amazing with just a slight drizzle of Alabama white sauce..... I usually avoid sauce. The pulled pork was moist all the way through with great smoke flavor. Others seem to be afraid of smoke but not this joint. I'm use to getting pulled pork that lacks seasoning all the way through and doesn't really carry the smoke past a firm bark. My potato and broccoli salad sides were equally as delicious.J had the smoked chicken and brisket, DAMN SON her meal was just as splendid. She had the baked beans as a side which carried an all spice or cinnamon flavor neither of us really cared for. Then the Mac and cheese; the noodles were still toothsome and not mushy , it was very very creamy but could have had just a kick of sharpness from some fresh cheddar. This place is worth the drive. PUT IT GEAR AND GET YOUR TAILPIPE THERE!

On the Northwest corner of town just across the tracks you will find some great BBQ at Slabby's! I have heard of this place from a couple of co workers and I always seemed to be just past lunch time or out of the area and could never make. Today was the day, and in spite of striking out on my order of burnt ends due to them being sold out I went with the Brisket and it was delicious! The Brisket comes unsauced (as Brisket should in my opinion)but full of juiciness and tenderness with an amazing bark. No need to worry they have plenty of sauce varieties to choose from to please every palate. I tried the Molten Molasses and a spicier one that hit just right. I like to mix a sweet and spicy sauce together and these two mixed were perfect. The Baked Beans were delicious as well with a curious mixture of beans that blended well and left a flavor explosion in my mouth with a little kick of spice. The gentleman behind the bar and playing the food recommended them and he was spot on. I assume he is the owner. The place is cozy and they have a pool table and jukebox. Bar and tabletop seating and of course a full bar! My first time in here and I love the home town vibe and I can assure you I will be back!

My brother-in-law took us here instead of the usual places on the square. A very nice treat. Small place, quiet, friendly. The brisket and ribs are very tender and tasty. I had the ribs and they are a full rib, lots of meat. Enjoyable with or without sauce. Served hot!Baked beans are interesting and delicious! Try them!Get here early they sometimes are out of an item.

To say this place is good would be an understatement. Compliments to the Chef it is obvious this food is prepared with love and attention. I ordered a full rack of smoke pork ribs that had a rub that was evenly distributed throughout the meat the smoke ring was spot on. Additionally I ordered 1lbs of delicious scrumptious pork belly burnt ends that were out of this world. I became addicted after the 2nd taste. Walking in the door I felt right at home the place was decorated very well with plenty of room to serve lots of people. The menu is full enough for me and my friends to make a few visits before tasting everything there are numerous options for sides as well. The service was speedy I was there during a lunch rush from a local construction project and the staff handled each order quickly getting everyone back to work quickly and safely. Very impressed by this place and I will definitely be back and would recommend to everyone. Keep up the amazing work!!!

The owners are very nice and make time to say hello. The food is very good, my favorite is the pulled pork but my husband likes the brisket- we're both loving the burnt ends the most though.. it's like dessert We've been here several times and have never left unhappy.

Yummy food! Plenty of variety for sides and it's fresh. They need to get fountain drinks though.

The best brisket of all time! I'm a huge BBQ fan and this place blows away expectations. Sometimes in life you get what you pay for! I was able to sample all 5 of their homemade signatures sauces and all of them were unique and incredible. This is the best BBQ in all of Indy. Worth the drive and prepared to be blown away. The owners came out and made the experience incredible !
