We love The Dive! We eat there often for dinner and it's great! We finally ate there yesterday for Sunday brunch! Highly recommended! I ordered the Texican chicken and waffle dish and my husband had the B&G's with chorizo sausage gravy! Everything was amazing! Our server, Chris, was friendly and attentive! He also is the bartender and made a great Mimosa pitcher for us! We highly recommend The Dive anytime of the day!

I had the chorizo cheese dip and tenderloin sandwich with Blake's fruit jam off tap! Delicious the atmosphere gives you bar vibes very comfortable where you can unwind and relax. That ranch sauce is very dill pickley which I loved. The service was ok the bartenders are the waitresses so imagine it's difficult to provide A+ service if you have a good amount of tables and the bar to serve.

There has been a bar at the corner of Sixth and Salem Streets since the Speakeasy Era. The Dive is the latest and is a great example of a dive bar. The bar's owners are relatively new so the menu is small but features pub favorites and Tex Mex. Chicken flautas were the special that night and were delicious. I'm looking forward to more additions in the future.

Absolutely both a dive and a destination bar. The service is excellent, it's clean, and the atmosphere is the perfect dive bar.The red salsa is not messing around and the steak taco excellent. Worth a visit.

Visited today for lunch around Noon. A nice sized crowd. I found my seat easily and was promptly served. I ordered the cheeseburger, based on the old Clubhouse's Hand Spanked Burger. The meat was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of bacon added to it. The fries were hot and had a seasoning on them that added to the flavor. I washed it all down with one of their 6th Street Dive Brews. It is a tasty beer and a good one to have at lunchtime. I have always enjoyed my visits here and this was another good one.

We've been here a few times now during recruiting seasons. Food is good and bartenders are too. Very friendly. I've gotten the burrito a couple times now and been happy with it both times. My husband likes the beef enchiladas and said the flavor is good on his as well. The bartenders have always been friendly and can carry on a convo. The place itself definitely gives off the 'dive' feel but in a good way. We really like the roll up doors with the screen. Weather was great so they were open. All in all we come back here for a bevy and meal about 1-2 times a year and will continue to come back.

GREAT dive spot in Lafayette. You'll see people of all backgrounds there and everyone has a great time. Great food (be sure to check out their specials), drinks and service!

It's not a dive. It's a "Texas" themed bar where the bartender could not find the Shiner. I imagine at one time it could have been more authentic like, when it was owned by the previous owners. Today, you would be better off with really great Tex Mex from Chuy's just down the street. Yes, Chuy's the chain is a real Tex Mex restaurant. This is a simple yuppy bar, with simple young "bartenders" (3) struggling to look you in the as the run past you to do nothing. If you looking for a simple poser dive bar with canned salsa, rice and beans you'll be just fine. If you're looking for Tex Mex, keep riding.

Great news - Sixth Street is back. We had a few average meals there a year ago, decided to give it another try. Glad we did. Great service amazing food. Got our usual - veggie burrito, chicken burrito, green sauce. Guac and queso. Took awhile to the appetizers, so they comped then guac. Great vibes. We were there Saturday early evening lots of screens w college football, but true to first em, there was an old Western playing on several screens.
