Silver In the City

One of the first things I saw as I stepped into Silver in the City: a coffee mug with Rose Nylund from The Golden Girls giving me the middle finger. Which was a coincidence, because I actually stopped in to find a new ring for one of my fingers! It was like Betty White knew, somehow.Silver in the City has a lot of jewelry, which is not on their website. I know this because I checked. You have to visit in person to see their collection. They have jewelry in all price points, too -- from around $15 all the way up to $100+. My little ring, which I love, was less than $20. I also looked at some lovely necklaces, bracelets and earrings. This is a great place to get inexpensive but fun jewelry.This is a great place to find Indiana-related gifts, too. You'll find local chocolates and food, wine glasses etched with Indianapolis streets, state park t-shirts, Monon Trail posters, Mass Ave stickers and lots more. There are kitchen goods, wacky socks, toys and gifts for kids, plant-specific things, pottery, handbags, and hundreds and hundreds of other fun things that I didn't know existed but suddenly had the urge to purchase right that minute. There are so many tchotchkes and trinkets, at a variety of price points. The people who work at the store are exceedingly helpful. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome -- I saw at least two beautiful doggies while I was there, who got lots of attention, of course.

Truly one of my favorite shops in the city and one I don't frequent because I know my wallet won't be happy (but my heart will be!)It is my go-to shop for souvenirs to bring friends when I travel but also to find special gifts for myself as well. There's a certain warmth and welcoming to the items in this store and the employees that make you want to stay, slow down, and browse each item. From jewelry, to puzzles, banners and Indy posters, there's much to see here. Thank you Silver in the City for being such a welcoming shop with heartfelt gifts for all!

It's always a joy to walk into Silver In the City! The amount of things they have for sale is jaw dropping! From candles and jewelry to plants and stickers and so much more! There is always new things to look out for and the staff is always bubbly and helpful. It's always a good day when I get the chance to stop in!

Great trinkets and gifts at reasonable prices. Love this store! Got lots of gifts for my secret pal and others for Christmas!

I've had Silver in the City bookmarked on my maps since the last time I was in Indy several years ago as a spot I wanted to check out. I wasn't able to check it out when I was here last, so when I was back in Indy this time a few months ago and saw I was walking by it on the map and had it bookmarked, I decided to pop in and see what it was all about....and now I'm kicking myself for not having come here sooner!!!!!!This place is SO CUTE! It is bursting at the seams with adorable, beautiful, whimsical GOODIES! There is something for everyone here and this is the perfect shop to shop at if you're looking to add some character into your home and life and DEFINITELY a perfect shop to shop at if you're looking for unique gifts for your loved ones!I love it here so much and I am a big frequenter of cute and unique gift shops in general, so over the years I have come to notice a lot of the same products from shop to shop of these types. Yet, Silver in the City still managed to surprise me in so many delightful ways by carrying SO MUCH - honestly the vast majority of the shop - that I had never seen before! It was so delightful to explore and discover so many unique items. I had a great time here and frankly it was probably a good thing that I was time constrained so could only shop here for 5-10 minutes before I had to go because otherwise I definitely would've bought way more and spent an obscene amount here!!Love everything about Silver in the City - AMAZING job on sourcing just the coolest goodies from all over to this wonderful store and on the lovely customer service too! I can't wait to come back here - INTENTIONALLY this time - the next time I'm in Indy to properly peruse the selection here and see what new goodies this gorgeous shop has in store!

Silver in the City is my go-to for gifts for every occasion - they have everything from sarcastic socks to locally made goods - tasty snacks.The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. They're also great at helping pick out gifts.You can preorder online and have your gifts delivered in just a couple days or pickup at the store.They're doing an excellent job at maintaining covid procedures and I feel super safe.Can't wait to check it out again.

Silver in the City is one of the best places in the city to browse and/or shop for gifts (for others and for yourself!). They have a lot of locally made products or products by independent artists and designers outside of Indiana, as well as cutesy things that are a bit standard for eclectic gift shops. The staff are always friendly here and I felt good about the covid precautions - everyone wears a mask, hand sanitizer, and you gift bag your own items (I like this because it get to choose bags/tissue paper color).
