Shrimp Hut East

Well, I guess all good things come to an end. We haven't ordered this for delivery in almost a year. Quality went down considerably. It used to be sooo good!So I thought to order the 5 pc catfish fillet dinner. For 15.99, I did NOT expect 5 full fillets, BUT I did expect, at the very least, meatier portions. Why don't we just call them catfish chips--hmm? They offer through Uber Eats to cook them either "hard" or "soft". I opted for "soft". What we actually got were fried crisps of catfish barely a 1/4 inch thick. I also got 2 whole chicken wings, because they used to be huge, tender, hot and delicious! They were 1.99 a piece--uhh well, I got 2 little scrawny chicken wings--overcooked. I understand proprietors look at the profit margin. But now--I won't order from them again. I would gladly pay more for yummy, delicious food--that you got me hooked on!

They never answer the phone. Direct you to a web site that's not there. Or come in really? When will we do better.

Best fish in the city!!!! Always hot, fresh and quite tasty. And you have to try the lemonade.

Some people at work said that they were ordering lunch, and this was the location they picked; after checking out the menu, I decided that I wanted to have lunch from here with them.After checking out the menu, I was surprised at the different options, and thankfully, since its Friday, I was able to get some tasty shrimp, French fries, and fried green tomatoes The shrimp was so tasty! Breaded and seasoned and it came with some excellent cocktail sauce. The fries were great! Crisp and just the right amount of salt, and there were some surprise hush puppies in with the fries. I also enjoyed my fried green tomatoes; they were lightly fried and delicious.I was impressed all around, and I'm glad I was able to have such a great lunch on a Friday!!

This place has really gone down hill. I ordered a combination ordered got home and only got half my order. The owner is very rude. I don't know how she stays in business.

My favorite seafood/fish spot in Naptown! They too know "Miss Taylor" and always have my food prepared fresh! My number 1 lunch spot!

They take forever and don't answer the phone, but the food is good. You should probably order a hour ahead of the time you actually want to pick up your food.

So I place my order online because they said I would get my food faster well when I arrived not only did I have to wait 40 minutes for my fish to be fried. I ordered a perch dinner and a catfish fillet fried soft. My fish was hard as a rock when I got home. So I called them to make them aware they told me I could bring the food back and they would give me a refund or fry me some more fish. That was the only thing they could do Well that would be fine if I didn't live 45 minutes away from the establishment. Very unhappy customer and I'm out of $44 from 0 to 10 I give them a zero !

We ordered two perch dinners on 2/6/24 the food was so cold it wasn't worth eating. I called the restaurant and was on hold for 30 minutes and was told I could bring it back for a refund or get a fresh order. As long as I waited for my order I hoped it would be fresh. I understand having a off day, but it's starting to be more bad than good.
