Shrimp & Wing Hut

We ordered from here through Grubhub!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!We ordered 15 wings with Buffalo sauce on the side. It is probably one of twice we ordered that the food delivery from here and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered at 645pm on Thursday. We are less than 6 miles which is about a 15 minute drive. 40 minutes later, it arrived hot, crispy and dagummm tasty!!!! You won't even need the sauce. It's perfectly seasoned and lightly breaded. We ordered from here previously and we thought surely we were just lucky then to get a great delivery, but no --no fluke! Our order took a little time for a driver to pick it up but, our delivery driver got it here on time and it was delicious. And they were friendly and courteous. There are only a handful of restaurants that can execute their food for delivery with fab results--this one can!

It's okay I've ordered a few times first time around was better second time fish was a bit soggy maybe because I carried it clear across town idk I will try again soon..

This is true comfort food! The whiting dinner was more then I expected. Very generous portions of fish but skimped on the onion rings that required an additional $3. Slaw is good - a little sweet if you like it that way. Food and presentation rates a B+. Will try again.

Today was probably my 4th time getting food from here. When I go in person, I love it but when I've ordered using various food order apps, I hate it. I am not sure if it's because the restaurant knows they can blame it on the delivery driver or they figure if you're ordering food via delivery service, 9/10 you won't complain to the restaurant. Not sure where the disconnect is but last week I ordered 4 whiting fish lunch specials, 2 fried mushroom sides and 1 side of green tomatoes. I called ahead with my order number to ensure they included condiments as it wasn't an option on the app I used. Got my order within the appropriate time MINUS all but one of the lunch specials, one side of mushrooms, & all the condiments I called ahead to get. I contacted the restaurant first like ummmmm what happened? All the fish was left off- they apologized but said the driver must have stolen it. So ofcourse I contacted the driver who was highly offended and said he was only given what he delivered to me. I resolved the issue by demanding them to provide me the food I ordered, once I was off work & mobile- they were nice about it. TODAY is a different story, I ordered 1 fish lunch special, mushrooms & greens. My greens are super tasty and the mushrooms were decent. However, my fish box was full of cold fries & fish breading/bones but nooooo fish. The box was properly sealed so there's no blaming it on the driver- they put a lump of fish breading in my box thinking I was going to eat that. PLEASSSE see pictures!!! I did call to alert them and they asked a series of questions (they were nice about it) and I'm going to go get my fish later but what an inconvenience and consistent terrible service. This will be my final time! It sucks because it's relatively close to home & their prices are unmatched for the flavor I USED TO GET. not anymore, another hole in the wall bites the dust!

First off this place was everything! I purchased the 5 whole wing meal with red beans and rice!. I ordered on Grubhub and it came with additional fries, hush puppies and bread! Hello come on with the jokes! The wings were good and the red beans and rice were excellent. I threw away the fries because it was carb overload. I saved the hush puppies to eat the following day with scrambled eggs and cheese! Go figure! I would definitely recommend and order again.

We ordered our food online, however when I got there and gave my name i had to wait for our food. This business is called the shrimp hut, however, Have you ever had long john silver shrimp, it has a massive amount of batter, these shrimp are a carbon copy of ljs. The cole slaw is tasty, but this is the shrimp hut? You can go judge for yourself.

On February 13, 2024, I ordered a Perch Dinner and a side of fries. I waited over a hour for my food. The young lady at the counter stated that they were trying to get all the Door Dash orders out first. There was a gentleman that had already ordered 20 minutes before I got that. He was waiting almost a hour and a half before he asked for a refund. They only gave me three pieces of fish and the side of fries were old and greasy. It was a waste of $29. I called and no one answered.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!Today I Ordered Door dash from this place. My Dasher went to pick up my order only to find out, while waiting after 15 minutes, that another dasher had already picked up my order. Once my Dasher followed protocol and informed me of this news I then called the establishment to see if my order can be re made seeing how it's was their fault. I was denied that and was also told by the Manager on Duty that maybe next time I shouldn't use Door Dash. SMH. So much for supporting Black Owned businesses.

This place needs to go out of business! I spent over $60 and it all went into the garbage and had to order pizza. The fish was pre-fried and then refried when you order it. Just gross and I'll never waste money here again.

Awesome food, and the service was excellent. Great customer service. The lady with the long hair is always friendly.. The best seafood in town. I always get the $3 lunch special.
