Shake Shack The Fashion Mall at Keystone

Recently walked over from a work meeting to grab some food at the Fashion Mall. Didn't have much time so quickly selected Shake Shack. Had a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. (Apologies, no pic this time)Pros: Kiosk ordering was relatively easy, allowed great customization of your order, and payment was easy via Apple Pay.Text received when order was ready.There were several order kiosks available.Food was as expected, well executed, tasty and hot.Cons:Pricing while probably in line with this location (Fashion Mall) , was high for what was received.No combos available that I could see. It was all individual item ordering and no price break for a combo.Lots of choices in this price range that would likely be more memorable.If not for price to value aspect this review would have been 5 stars.

I wanted to like Shake Shack much more then I actually did. We were at Keystone at the Crossing and in a hurry, so we stopped in for a quick carryout order. I like the streamlined ordering system, which I used for our order, but you can still order from a human being. My husband and I both ordered chicken nuggets, fries, and chocolate/vanilla ice cream cups. The service left a lot to be desired. Every staff member seemed like they would be happier if everyone left. And little care was put into packing our order. One of the lids on the ice cream cups fell off when the guy was getting it out of the freezer and he just put it in the bag. Then, when we got to our car on the other side of the mall, we realized we had no spoons. Were we supposed to get those on the restaurant? I didn't see them. For a carryout order I would've expected them to be in the bag. The food was fine. It was hot. The breading fell off the chicken nuggets, so if you tried to take a bite instead of eating a whole nugget, you'd lose the breading from the second bite. But the flavor was fine. The fries were very salty, but also fine. The ice cream was decent. It wasn't the experience we were hoping for, that's for sure. I thought Shake Shack was supposed to be great, but it just wasn't awesome, and that was disappointing. There are many places to choose from in that food court, and we'll definitely dine at one of the other establishments next time.

I was back in the area and wanted to try the mew Korean BBQ burger and well the fries too. Wow the price has creeped up all in burger fries and deink $18.00 so was hoping it was as good as it looked. Well not sure what a Korean BBQ burger and fries should taste like. There was brown sauce in a cup to put on the burger that had a strong umami taste to it and was good but kind of overwhelmed the burger. The fries had a dusting of a red spice and also had cheese on them. Overall it was enjoyable still kind of expensive and probably decided the new burger isnt my favorite, but was good to try.

This is only the second Shake Shack that I've been to and like the other one it is nothing special. I much prefer In-N-Out but now that I live in Indiana In-N-Out isn't going to be an option for awhile. This particular Shake Shack was really dirty. There was trash all over the floor and the area with ketchup, straws, and napkins was particularly bad. The young woman who helped me at the counter was great. She was very friendly and efficient. The other staff I saw were looking almost bored with their jobs, which goes a long way towards explaining how dirty the place was. I had a single Shack Burger with cheese fries and a Coke Zero. The burger was very poorly assembled but tasted fine. The cheese fries were kind of blah with what seems like melted Velveeta on top. I'm going to start working at an office in the same office complex and shopping area as this Shake Shack but after another disappointment at one of their places I'm probably not going to give them another chance.

Did takeout from shake shack and our food was ready pretty quick but it was a odd time. The fries were fresh and crispy! The burger was good but could of used more sauce. Was surprised how small the burgers were. Staff was friendly

Ok burger. Good quality meat, kinda small, tasty toppings ok variety. I need to try the chicken sandwich I've heard so much about .... fries are about a 2.5 /5. All far too expensive. Culver's Shake Shack

TL;DR Good smash burgers at the New York price. This location has self serve kiosks in the middle of the store. Only two of the four were working on this visit. We went in specifically for the Hot Ones menu and got a burger and chicken sandwich. The Hot Ones sauce was applied sparingly. The heat is very forward and then dies down. It's safe and good. The crinkle fries we got were plain, and delicious. The problem is the New York price point. $60 for the three of us to eat lunch. At this price point, Bru Burger is a much better burger (and fries) and sits outside the mall. They serve Coke products.

I can tell that they're trying their darndest to make the best out of a chaotic situation. This Shake Shake is located in the food court of the Keystone Fashion Mall, so a) you know it's going to be busy because it's in a mall, and b) this is one of the only three Shake Shacks in central Indiana. Yes, it's very busy all the time. But they are also working very hard to get the orders out quickly, and they actually have a line set up with someone attending it to manage all the chaos. And there are touch screens where you can order, as well as the option to order from a person at the register, so once you get in line, it isn't as horrible as you think it will be (or as horrible as I thought it would be). Considering how many people were there ordering and dining in and whatnot, it probably only took me 15 minutes from the time I got in line until I got my to-go order. This time, I got the chicken sandwich, which is great. It was assembled a little slap-dash, but that didn't bother me too much. It still tasted great. The crinkle fries are always good.The restaurant is accessible from the mall proper. If you try to go in from their street entrance, you'll find out that you can't. The street entrance is where you can pick up online orders, apparently.

It was dark outside, I was making a quick return in The Fashion Mall, and I'd been craving a burger for weeks. When I walked by Shake Shack, I had to try it. I walked up to the counter and was the last customer of the day - yay! I ordered the ShackBurger and fries. The burger came with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce (similar to Thousand Island dressing). It was delicious! The fries were crinkle cut; nice and crispy.There were screens for customer ordering, as well as about ten booths for dine in. The only reason that I knocked off a star was because there were lots of crumbs and fries on the floor, but they were about to close, so I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt. The manager was friendly and thanked me for coming in, which is always impressive! Thanks for a yummy, quick meal!

After all the hype I gave Shake Shack a shot and to say the least, I'm extremely disappointed. After giving it a shot I discovered that it's barely above fast food quality at a far higher price than it deserves in an extremely sterile, depressing environment.My advice to Shake Shack, read the room cause this is Indianapolis; not New York. You're up against plenty of more affordable options that are able to easily match and beat you so you either need to up your burger game or bring your prices down big time.
