Shake Shack Downtown Indianapolis

Traveled to Indianapolis for work and was STARVING afterwards. Unfortunately Louisville doesn't have a Shake Shack so I knew I had to get it because their milkshakes and burgers are *Chef's Kiss*. Parking is limited to the street or a garage and it sits on a corner right after a traffic light. When you enter, a few kiosks are available for you to order. It was easy to navigate and personalize your order and there was plenty of places to sit. My food came out hot and fresh! I had my favorite strawberry milkshake, single shack burger, and fries. It did not disappoint! I almost wanted to order another burger. My 6 y/o son was also with me and it was his first time having Shake Shack. He loved it so much that he said he wanted to come back for his birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I even had a nice convo with another customer that was very pleasant. Overall, Shake Shack is still one of my favorite places and I recommend this location.

My boyfriend used to order Shake Shack a lot. Like 3-4x a week because he lived right down the street and really enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, I liked to order carry out with him on occasion (their fries are the best fast food fries and I will die on that hill), but I didn't feel it worth my time to pen a review for a fast food chain. Obviously that changed since I'm here writing this review.Tonight my boyfriend and I decided to dine in. He ordered the usual: Sprite (he says they have the best), cheeseburger, and a smoke shack. Admittedly, the smoke shack is my favorite burger there, but I wanted something without beef so I opted for the chicken shack and a limited-time only Thai tea milkshake. We split some fries and they were the perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside--hands down some of the best fries I've ever had. I was also really pleasantly surprised that the chicken shack was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. The pickles were crunchy and the sauce really brought everything together.The Thai tea milkshake was not my favorite. I love Thai bubble tea or even hot Thai tea, but so much of it in milkshake form was ~too much~. I still enjoyed it, just something I wouldn't order again; however, it's also the reason I think they deserve 5 stars. An employee (maybe the manager?) walked through the dining room while we ate, asked how everything was, and specifically asked about the milkshake, mentioning it's a bit controversial. When I shared my thoughts, he offered to make me a different shake so I'd have something I'd like better. I didn't take him up on it, but truly appreciated the kind gesture and 10/10 customer service! Wish I asked his name so I could give him a proper shoutout. Didn't take any photos because I wasn't expecting to write a review!

I'm gonna say this place is still the best burger money can buy in Indy, bar none! I don't know if it's worth the insane price hike from Wendy's tho. The double bacon burger here is over $12. The service is nice and fast here. You walk in and order on the kiosk, give your name, and then also get a number for some reason. Seems a little redundant to me.But they have a cool as fusbol table which is nice! I expected there to be no ball there and you have to ask for it but nope it's right there !

This was my first time ever visiting Shake Shack and it was a bit....underwhelming for me. I've heard a lot about it so I wanted to try it for myself. With the word "shake" being in the name I thought that they would have top tier shakes, but that wasn't the case, in my opinion. I opted for the strawberry frosted donut shake and it was all one note. I didn't get any strawberry flavor from it and there were waxy sprinkles all throughout the shake which was really unpleasant. The staff was a bit unfriendly as well. They seemed to be bothered that we ordered at the counter instead of the kiosk. The place was very clean and spacious, but I'm not sure if we'll be returning

I ordered a cookies and creme malt shake! It was thick and Lucious! I got bits of cookies and a great taste of malt. The inside was really nice, tons of seating and tvs with sports games on! The service was nice one of the employees approached us in the self check out area and offered assistance. Solid shake spot!

I had a great meal here. As I have with all the other locations here. So why the 3 stars? I found it incredibly odd that during the middle of dinner rush, multiple staff members appeared to be taking a break in the dining room, and in the process were taking up tables for customers. Not sure I've ever seen that in a place besides McDonald's or junky fast food places

I ordered delivery from ShakeShack through ubereats and it was shockingly fast! I love a good burger and this burger hit the spot. My fries were not as hot as I like but they were good as well for delivery.

I went with a friend to Shake Shack for lunch since it was walking distance from work. We arrived around 11:15 and it wasn't busy at all. It was very clean, had multiple TVs and plenty of seating. I had the Shroom Burger with Fries and my friend ordered the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger with Fries. I really like how the fried portobello mushroom on my burger was really crispy and I wasn't expecting it to be stuffed with melty cheese. It was really good. The fries were also good and crunchy. However I did feel like my lunch meal was a bit too expensive and for that reason I'm not sure I would go back.

I'll never understand the hype that Shake Shack gets when I can get better, more affordable burgers at Culver's.

The workers are the world's most corrupted people! They make sure NO ONE can use the parking spots marked SHAKE SHACK! So, if you're an Uber or Lyft driver, you're lucky to park near the restaurant to get the food in a timely manner! The same cars move and allow other Shake Shack employees park. The parking spots are not marked for just employees! I wouldn't go here for nothing!
