Shadow Lounge & Restaurant

I stopped by Shadow Lounge on a Friday evening. We weren't able to make reservations, but we were able to walk in around 8:30 pm and get seated right away. When we walked in, we were greeted. There weren't man seats left inside, so we decided to sit outside. There were plenty of heaters available and it was toasty. We were able to hear the music outside too. They played a a variety of hip hop. The menu had a good selection of food. I chose the seafood egg rolls and cauliflower bites. Both were flavorful, and hot! The catfish was actual catfish and not swai. It was fresh as well! Our waitress checked on us throughout the night. The vibes were fun and would be great for small or large groups! I can't wait to go back!

I've been wanting to come here ever since they opened! A friend and I came for brunch after church around 12PM (I think they opened at 11AM), and it was already pretty busy! We didn't have reservations, but we saw space at the bar top and decided to sit there. Not sure if we would have been able to get a table or not. As soon as we sat down at the bar, we were greeted immediately and given menus etc. They have a full bar and a nice cocktail menu (4-5 options). I got a Paloma, which was pretty good, and my friend got a blueberry lemon drop. And for all the lemon drop lovers, they offer pretty much any fruity flavor you can think of. For entrees we both ordered their very popular catfish & grits, and it did not disappoint! I think the grits could have used a little more seasoning, but the catfish was perfect.FYI: The parking lot is pretty small - we had to find parking in the lot next door.

Food: is bomb! I found out Chef Tia from chicken scratch is working her magic back there with other talented cooks. I've tried the Chicken wings, Mac and cheese, Philly cheese eggrolls and I'm pretty damn satisfied! They also serve non tobacco hookah that you definitely can appreciate for your respiratory system lol. Very smooth and clean to smoke on for a while. Worth the price due to the quality. Service: I have not had one bad experience with any waitress, doorman or host. All are patient, approachable and attentive. They check on you quick, even as loud and as busy as it gets, they're all unfazed and still give the best service (hence why automatic gratuity makes sense, tip your service professionals!!)Ambiance: is definitely giving a kickback lounge vibe. Lots of booths and tables, and ofc the bar. And although seating can get pretty packed, especially on Thursday-weekends, the crowd moves a bit quick because of the service. The music the Dj's choose always get the people moving out their seat and creates a good collective atmosphere of enjoyment.

We stopped in for my club sisters bday! We had a blast. The atmosphere was great! The dj kept everyone entertained. Come to find out chef Tia was doing the cooking so you know nothing else needs to be said.. The food was bomb!!!! I had the catfish shrimp and grits and it was delicious. (Shrimp shells could have be removed properly) Only thing I would say Is the auto gratuity kept the servers from making more money than they could make. I will definitely be going make... asap

I went on a Sunday night. Since this was my first time dining here I didn't know what to expect. When I first walked in I saw an area where you can take photos of yourself and with friends. They have two areas to sit to see the DJ booth (that played throwback R&B songs) before the establishment became crowded and see the big flat screen TV's. They also have a bar to the right side of the establishment. I was seated right away, which was a plus. The server we had name was Nijay. She was friendly, very professional and knowledgeable about the food. I ordered a house salad and Hot Honey bone-in chicken wings. They were okay. I also ordered the Southwest egg rolls and the peach cobbler to go. They made the peach cobbler from scratch and paired it with vanilla ice cream which was a plus.

Delicious! I've been here several times and the drinks, food, and service is great! The Henny Margarita is great and huge ! It's $10-12. The bartender knows how to pour a good drink. The servers are very attentive. No matter how packed this place gets the food comes out pretty fast and it's always fresh. The catfish is my favorite! The eggrolls and fried cauliflower is good too. They have lamb chops and chicken wings. And let me say everything is good. The Dj was good on a Friday night and Saturday night when I came. They have hookah and it's a vibe! If you're a picture taker like me .. you will get some good shots with their floral wall. I love this place. Lots of parking. Can't wait to try more

Shadow Lounge is a fantastic spot with a great vibe! The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, making it perfect for a night out. We were there for a birthday dinner during the week so it wasn't crowded but I've heard the weekends can be pretty busy. I had the catfish, and it was absolutely delicious--crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and tender inside. I did ask them to fry it hard. It's easily one of the best I've had in a while. I also started with a seafood appetizer (can't remember the name, but it was packed with flavor!) and it was the perfect way to kick off the meal.The service was excellent; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's clear they care about creating a great experience for their guests.Overall, Shadow Lounge is a hidden gem in Indiana, and I can't wait to go back to try more of their menu. I hear the pasta is amazing!!! I would recommend checking it out!

The seafood egg rolls were really good I'll be back to try the others. The vibes were nice and the drink was decent.

Omg, where should I start?! I recently heard the buzz surrounding the new lounge and had to check it out for myself so my friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. Without any reservations, we were seated within 10-15 mins. They had the football game playing & there was also a DJ that played some r&b and hip hop. We were greeted by our waitress Destiny. She was polite and did a great job or checking on us without interrupting us often. I also thought it was really cool that the owner and chef greeted the patrons & delivered food as well. That's A1 customer service! I had the catfish & grits and my friend had the chicken & red velvet waffles. My fish was hot, flaky and perfectly seasoned. My grits were a little colder than I would like but had great flavor. My friend's chicken & waffles looked great and they rated it a 9/10. For drinks we ordered the pineapple mimosa pitcher but it was just okay. As a self-proclaimed sommelier, I could tell the Prosecco or champagne used was cheap so it would be nice if they offered a premium tier for the mimosas. We also ordered strawberry lemon drops. They were tart and might have been made with well vodka so neither of us enjoyed them. My friend sent their lemon drop back but they were so patient & gave us no problem. This is partially our fault because we didn't request the liquor we would've preferred. Overall, I'll definitely be back. It's a cool vibe & the food was sooo yummy.

We went around lunch time so there wasn't a long wait. Food came out pretty quickly and was made fresh! My friend ordered the catfish and was told they didn't have tartar sauce. Had she known, she wouldn't have ordered fish. I think that should be known before placing an order on something that is normally paired together. The place is pretty dark..music was playing as well as the tv. Our server was nice and kept our drinks full.
