SGD is a solid Korean restaurant within Saraga Castleton. It is a little pricey, but the portions are great. We got the pork bulgogi and the chicken stone bowl bibimbop which were both fantastic. The kimchi pancake was a solid appetizer, but not really worth the price.Overall great option for Korean food with good portions. Would highly recommend checking out if you are in the area.

I love this chain and have been to a few of their standalone restaurants and food court stalls in downtown Chicago, Chicago suburbs and New Jersey. This specific location falls short in terms of quality of soup. It felt heavier on the MSG and overall flavor was not as robust as other places. Portion wise, it is comparable - I only tried the soondubu here. I left only mildly satisfied and incredibly thirsty for the rest of the afternoon. The search for good soondubu continues...

Food was absolutely delicious! Get the Korean BBQ experience quickly at this place. Was really just as delicious as the Korean bbq places we frequent. Bulgogi was fab! Kalbi was pretty good!

My first time trying this place was through DoorDash and it was good! I ordered Bibibimbap and kimchi pancake. Both had great flavor but pancake was warm. Today we finally tried it in person and it made me so happy!! I LOVE dolsot bibimbap and what I got was delicious! My only complaint is that the bowl is pretty shallow! Wish it was deeper so I don't lose any of the ingredients I ordered short rib for the hubs and it was amazing!! He got several 'oohhs' walking back to our table and I definitely went 'Ohhh' as well. I know what I'm getting next time! The ladies at SGD, K Kitchen, and Tous Les Jours were super nice as well!! We went on a Sunday and were expecting a long wait but it was surprisingly quick! So happy we have this place!

This restaurant is located inside the saraga food court. I thought the food was a bit on the pricier side but it did come with side dishes which was nice.Unfortunately my rice was not fully cooked because the kernels were actually hard in the center. But I'm sure that was a one off!

Good food, nice portion sizes. We ordered via DoorDash. Everything was nicely packed. I had the Korean bbq and it was fantastic. The price point is on the higher side, but it was worth it. If you are wanting to try Korean food this is a good spot for delicious food.

I'll take what I can! Indy finally has a couple more Korean stops coming! I'm from Chicago and one of the things I miss the most is the many options of Korean restaurants/bakeries/etc available. At the food court located in the new(er) Saraga International Market (at Castleton) has a Korean French-inspired bakery, Korean Corn Dog (Korn), and SGD. I was excited because I do love Sundubu-jjigae (Soft tofu soup/stew). Both times, I ordered the Soon Tofu Soup (Sundubu-jjigae), Hot, with Beef. It was good, but not great. But I am biased, since I've been to an actual SGD restaurant while living in Chicago. There's something about the food court-version of SGD that's a little different. But, it's not enough to stop me from going for my sundubu fixing (hence the first sentence). My friends have tried the Beef Short Ribs, Kimchi Stew, and Beef Short Rib Soup. The loved the Kimchi Stew and Beef Short Rib Soup, but the Beef Short Ribs (bbq) was not as great.Overall, I'm glad they finally opened a location in Indy. Can't wait to see what else will open!

I've only ordered takeout here but the food is great. I feel like you get your bang for your buck as well. I always get fried dumplings and kimchi stew with extra rice. Sometimes the rice isn't cooked perfectly but it's still a nice place to eat. They often close before Saraga does though, so I would get there before it gets too late into the night, especially on week days.

This is a Korean restaurant inside Saraga grocery store on Castleton. They have great selection of Korean food including bibimbap, bulgogi, short rib galbi but their signature dish is spicy tofu soup. You can choose protein for your soup and as a Korean(because this is a Korean dish), I would recommend seafood. It includes shrimp, mussel and others. Main dish/soup comes with three side dishes(ban chan) including kimchi. So far, I had short rib soup, tofu soup with seafood and pork belly with kimchi and they were all very tasty and authentic to me, native Korean. Pick up order is available.
