Serendipity Mobile Catering

They did an amazing job catering and serving for our fraternity mom's weekend with 295 people! We served minis that included filets, crab cakes, buffalo chicken, chimi burgers, blue turkey, black bean burgers, beef wellington, stuffed prawns, chicken cordon bleu, roma points and ahi crisps. Food was amazing! Moms were impressed! I highly recommend them for events.

I've had the chance to order from the Serendipity Food Truck a couple of times. The tacos were good but the crab cakes were amazing ... fresh and full of flavor, the sauce on the crab cake sandwich gives it a special kick. The truffle fries are delicious too.

Serendipity has been a regular at downtown Indy's Statehouse Market for quite some time. I've always been intrigued, but I'll confess that I get into my usual routine and often find myself sticking to familiar trucks. Today, I was on my way over to one of my familiar trucks and noticed the line was a bit longer than my time for lunch would allow. I looked around and saw that Serendipity had a fairly reasonable line and it seemed to be moving fairly quickly. So, today, I finally checked out Serendipity. Serendipity Mobile Catering offers the usual food truck option along with catering. They actually have two mobile kitchens - a 22-foot truck capable of serving up to 300+ depending on their menu. They also have a 16-foot truck that Serendipity actually built themselves and customized for their own needs. While it seems like it would be smaller, it can actually serve up to 500+ depending on the menu. Both trucks are quite well equipped and that equipment is backed by employees who are seriously on their game. At Statehouse Market, the menu tends to stay fairly modest with a handful of key items. Options include crab cake minis, elk burger minis, red mole chicken tacos, a Cubano, a grilled cheese option, a pick two option, a rice bowl, and some side options. They typically also offer a handful of bottle/can beverage options. I'd never tried an elk burger and was intrigued. The meal included 2 Elk burger on toasted brioche with gournay cheese and Piquillo coulis. Hand-cut fries are included as a side. The price was $14. I was seriously impressed with how quickly items were prepared, yet they all tasted fresh and everything was delicious. I'm not the most adventurous eater, however, I really loved the elk burgers and despite being "mini" burgers I definitely felt like I had a quality meal that filled me up. The employees were friendly and helpful. They placed the items in a container (it looked compostable) and it was easy for me to carry. The Serendipity menu is a bit adventurous with me - especially with toppings, etc. However, I was quite pleased and would easily return. Elk burger tends to be lighter and it was cooked just delightfully. The seasoned fries were fantastic. The Statehouse Market season is winding down, however, I'm hoping I get at least one more time to check out Serendipity again. They have everything I hope for from a food truck and there's no doubt this was an upper tier meal for me. It took me a long time to try Serendipity, but it sure won't take me a long time to return.

Serendipity was at the Speedway's Food Truck Fridays at Daredevil Brewery. This was our first Food Truck Friday's at Daredevil Brewery. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate at 44 degrees and rain. However, I really wanted to try the crab cakes and truffle fries so we ignored the weather.All the positive reviews are not wrong! The crab cakes and truffle fries were phenomenal! The crab cakes had very little filler, cooked perfectly and delicious! The truffle fries were also amazing!! I loved the crispy fries and the unique flavor. Not only was the food excellent but the presentation was gorgeous. Not what I expected from a food truck. The owners were super friendly, appreciated I'd seen them on Indy Style and reassured me I'd love my order. I wish they had a storefront. We were lucky enough to take our meals into the Daredevil Brewery to escape the brutal outdoor elements. Their my husband had the Daredevil Octoberfest beer. I look forward to Food Truck Friday returning to Daredevils once Spring returns.

Wanted to try for some time and was excited to have their mobile truck come to our neighborhood especially with restaurant dining closed due to pandemic. Ordering was easy to manage online and pay. Then we were given a time frame window of when our order would be ready for pickup. Cuban was by far my favorite. I'm not a fan of crab cakes but tried a bite of my husband's and was pleasantly surprised. Crab cakes, fries and burgers were also good. Kids split the kids meal cheeseburger that cake with two sliders. Everyone really enjoyed their dinner and we look forward to hopefully having the food truck visit the neighborhood again! Thank you!

We were blown away by Serendipity! Their mobile catering service is truly unique--able to make any type of food for your occasion right from their trucks. Not only was the food amazing, but the team was incredibly kind and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly. They helped make sure the right people were in the right spots during our wedding, and their attention to detail made all the difference. We couldn't have asked for a better catering experience! Walked the two block from GenCon to the truck (corner of Madison and South) and it was time WELL spent!Their crabcake sliders are simply off the chain. They're the best crabcakes I've had outside of Baltimore harbor in Maryland! The fries were spot on perfect, the service was fast, and they were just happy doing what they were doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

While the sliders were good and the service was friendly, the French fries served weren't fully cooked and it was like biting into a partially raw potato which kind of disappointed me. It may have just been them rushing to serve the school staff, but I'd rather wait a few minutes longer for fully cooked French fries than them rushing to get food served.

They catered my families wedding, and that food WAS SLAPPING!!! They handled a huge crowd!! Definitely copped some seconds!! Without a doubt would recommend for future events!
