Lunch at Scott Street Pub was delightful. The interior is comfortable and quaint with prohibition-era decor. Service was quick and the food was outstanding. Some of the best tasting pulled pork I have had, certainly the best in Lafayette. The pork was finely chopped with bits of tender meat and bits of burnt ends, a flavorful combination. I plan to bring my family back for dinner soon.

Cute little pub by the park. It's not very big so not good for big groups. We were sat almost immediately. Our server was very kind. We told her it was our first time so she gave us a few recommendations. She also told us they make like 99% of their stuff from scratch including sauces and stuff. They smoke, brine, and batter everything in house too. She was very attentive. Great employee for sure. I had the special of the week which was catfish. The flavor and breading was great. The meat was a little soft for fish, but it was still good. I had Cajun fries with it. Pair those with the homemade ketchup. So good! Also had some pretzel bites with beer cheese. Pretty good. I would've liked more salt on the pretzels. The smoked wings were amazing. Well cooked and quality flavor. Definitely gonna have to try them with the other sauces. Homemade ranch with those too. You should check this place out!

Came back after our previous failed attempt (no service, waited on customers that came in after us). Better experience, server was attentive and on top of our needs. Ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer, fried chicken salad and buffalo chicken sandwich as entrees. All were very good, although our appetizer came out after our entrees. Also had to ask for more buffalo sauce, the sandwich was quite dry with little sauce to be found. Overall they have tons of potential, but need to dial in their operations. 4 stars is based on the server and the potential, look forward to trying again!

Came here for lunch with a friend. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches. She had the turkey and I had the Rachel. Mushrooms were a great upgrade but needed salt! I added my own and the dipping sauces were delicious. I recommend asking for a side of the homemade 1000 island to dip your sandwich in. I've heard the taco Tuesday is awesome and I will definitely be back to try more!

What a little hidden gem! Off the beaten path, which is a plus. Cozy, inviting and just plain comfortable environment. I had a mushroom and Swiss burger that was very good. The service was friendly and helpful as well. Looking forward to going back soon.

Second visit. First over last summer was great. The place is well appointed and clean. This visit was ok. Deli sandwiches seem to be their forte. Pastrami and Reuben are pretty good. Hamburgers and patty melt were lacking. Overdone and no flavor. Patty melt was missing many essential elements it should have; like good melty cheese, caramelized onions, and toasted rye bread. Not sure what happened there. Two in our party ordered them and they were both the same. I want this place to succeed so hopefully improvements will be made. Our server, Emma, was great. Very attentive and friendly. May try again when we come back to town. Also, they may want to consider a barrier at the entrance as we were seated at the front and frigid air blasting in when anyone open the door was uncomfortable. Best of luck. It's a challenging business, restaurants.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Scott Street Pub. It looks like a house right outside Columbian Park in Lafayette. They have a lovely patio area that has potential! Some flowers or plants would go a long way out there (it's also Indiana so I totally don't blame them for not having any yet!). I'm excited to go again in the summer. We started with the pretzel balls, which were fantastic. I had the fried chicken salad and my husband had the burger that was on special. It was a chili cheese burger. I tried the fries and they were delicious! They currently only serve beer and wine. Hoping maybe they are able to serve liquor in the future. There was only one server/bartender for the whole restaurant. She was rocking it and trying her best, but it got pretty busy and it just looked stressful. Hopefully they are able to find more help soon. Either way, we will definitely return.

Visited Scott Street Pub for the first time on a sunny Wednesday around 12pm. At the time we arrived, we were the only ones there. By the time we were done, a decent lunch crowd had gathered. The building has been used for multiple restaurants/Pubs and is in an old house in a neighborhood. It gives the Pub some extra character. We sat outside and it is a really nice space. There are some good pics from other Yelpers showing this space at night. There is a large smoker outside and we would like to come back and check out the smoked wings. I ordered the ham and cheese with chips and my wife ordered fish and chips. The server entered the fish and chips wrong and out came a fish sandwich. It was a good sandwich so that was fine. The fries are the fresh-cut type and the ketchup is a homemade-type with a little kick to it. Overall, very pleased with the food. We ended up not getting charged for the fries due to the ordering error. The Pub has a two-way license w/ beer and wine. They have a decent wine list. The beer menu was okay as well but the prices are a tad high. I understand the state of the economy and trying to keep the pub a tad more classy, but $3.74 for Miller High Life is a bit much. I didn't see any information about drink specials but they may exist. Overall, very pleased with the experience. We will be back to try the wings.

So glad we found this delicious spot in downtown Lafayette. Daughter was craving Italian but when looking, mostly pizza joints around... this low lit pub with big windows had variety and an eclectic menu that the three of us enjoyed perusing to make our decisions. Our server was prompt and provided explanation to our inquiries. We started with chicken lettuce wraps, strips of grilled seasoned chicken, shredded carrot, pickled cukes w/onion... well, you get it, yummm. It was a garlicky shrimp pasta for me, a little Alfredo for my chick and fillet mignon sliders for him. We would have cleaned our plates, as everything was scrumptious, but for the appetizer. A very pleasing experience, maybe for you as well.

We stopped for lunch while on the road traveling through Lafayette with our dog and loved the food and ambience at Scott Street Pub. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my partner had a warm pastrami sandwich. The food was very good and the patio was comfortable. The service was friendly but just a bit scatter brained, so down a star but it is a much better stop than fast food at the gas station on the highway. If we weren't driving I bet it is a great place to relax with a beer.
