Scoopz Ice Cream

This is a great ice cream place at the AMP at 16-tech. They have so many options. I ordered Hoosier Peanut-butter Buckeye flavor on a waffle cone. It was delicious. Very rich and creamy. The service was so quick and the staff was very friendly. The person there listed off a lot of their flavors for me. The location is great. The AMP is a nice food hall with lots of open space and room to gather.This is a perfect stop for ice cream on a bike ride or a great desert option after eating at the AMP.

I've never met ice cream that I didn't love, so it always comes down to the customer service for me. Scoopz never disappoints in this department. Patient, friendly, and personable are just a few descriptors that come to mind for this amazing team.Whether I'm working and rewarding myself for making progress on a project or it's an all play kind of day, Scoopz is always an option!Pro-tip: Get the bourbon pecan milkshake and head over to the bar to mix your own boozy concoction

We catered scoopz for an event and it was a definite hit! Lori was quick to reply and went above and beyond to accommodate our group's order. All 75 individual scoops were prepared perfectly. Everyone loved the ice cream and sorbet we selected, with the graham slam and AMPlified being our groups' favorite. I would highly recommend Scoopz for any group event or just an evening ice cream stop. Many of us will definitely be returning!

This little ice cream joint is located in the Amp 16 food court, in the back left corner. It is a small stand, but still is able to maintain a wide variety of ice cream flavors. You can get you treat in a cup, cone, quart, pint, or shake. They have some very exotic and unique flavors. I was ecstatic when I saw the black walnut ice cream. I love that ice cream and have not been able to find it for a long time. Being that the place is located in a trendy food court there is tons of seating available indoors and there is limited patio seating available out front.I got a pint of the black walnut and the key lime pie was calling my name, so I decided to get a scoop of that as well. And I was glad that I did. It was some of the best key lime that I have had. The lime flavor was a perfect sweet/tart mix and was packed with flavor.The black walnut was delicious and worth the wait. The young woman working the stand was very friendly and helpful, even though my interaction with her was limited.If you have been to Amp then you know and probably experienced first hand the parking issues. There is very limited 2 hour parking on the street out front. There is also a commercial lot out front and a commercial garage in back. Even though parking is a nightmare, they have some scrumptious ice cream. I love their selection. So why not treat yourself? I highly recommend checking this place out.

Just go! Her flavors are amazing. So fresh. So original. You won't be disappointed. I've been several times with hubby, and every time we go, our minds are blown. First, Scoopz got me with her lemon Oreo ice cream (amazing!)Then, this time, she had something like a Banana Pudding ice cream (I think it was called something like Hannah Banana or something). My taste buds were not expecting what I was about to bring it!! It had Biscoff cookie crumbles in it, y'all!!!! If that don't make you wanna run over to AMP right now, I don't know what will. I got mine with the Caramel praline pecan in the pint-size!!! Honey, let me tell you it was so good. If you're going to get the 2-scoop just gon' ahead and get the pint. For $2 more, you get double for what you get in the 2-scoop. You can take some home (if it makes it that far!) Now, mama's gonna hook you up. She's not stingy with the portions, honey! She's going to take care of you! So either way, you're going to be satisfied. Wonderful service, she always has a smile on her face, and she's serving up amazing ice cream!!! Like Donna from Parks and Rec says, "Treat Yo Self"!! and head over to Scoopz for some of the best ice cream in the city! Don't forget to leave a tip ;).Let me know what you think.

Nice flavors. I went for nondairy. Orange Sorbet and Lemon are hard to come by .... both were delectable. I got a combo cup of both. Friendly family, black-owned business. I'll be back for some tasty Sorbet.

I'm the weirdo that likes ice cream that isn't overwhelmingly sweet. I usually get sorbet or sherbet, but I can't resist anything that includes graham crackers. I tried the Graham Slam, a graham cracker based ice cream with graham bits and a chocolate crunch. It was soooooo good. It had a great texture and EVERYONE loved it - me, my husband (the super sweet lover) and the kid (needs something crunchy). Service was quick and very friendly. Ice cream isn't made onsite but is purchased locally. They had all the basics, along with some interesting flavors and vegan offerings.

Two reasons to go to The Amp:Reason one: Scoopz Ice Cream! If you need a sweet boost to your day, this is it! I was able to sample flavors before purchase which is always a plus in my book! There are unique creations like their peanut butter cup and Oreo ice cream which was amazing!I also had a scoop of their signature graham cracker ice cream! I'll certainly be back for more! The staff was so warm and welcoming, you can tell these owners love what they do! Reason Two: The Amp offers a variety of restaurants to sample! Come solo on a lunch break or with a group for a good time!

Two words for Scoopz Ice Cream - Absolutely delightful! I was worried that Scoops wouldn't be open when I would be done with my haircut but thankfully they were open til 8pm so I had time to stop by. They had a good variety of ice cream flavors and a few vegan sorbet offerings as well. Tastings were offered but even so it was hard to pick between the options. We ordered two sets of double scoops with different flavors, each with a bright citrusy flavor - LemOreo and Key Lime Pie, and a supportive base of Strawberry and Graham Slam. Everything worked so well together. We'll definitely be back again to try another set!

Chocolate was very chocolate and my husband loved it. I go Grandmas Favorite Butter Pecan. It was really good. The waffle cone was also good. I tied the LemOreo. It was good but I think the lemon could be overpowering after a few bites. Husband tried the orange sorbet since it was slightly healthier but went with chocolate.
