Scampy's Annex

Nice local bar with a home town feel in Anderson. I think what stood out to me about this place is everyone was very nice and it really seemed like everyone knew everyone. Even though it was my first time there it felt warm and welcoming. The server was the only one there and her attitude was 10/10. Dawn was her name and I tell you, she handled that place and had such an amazing attitude. I've seen servers with less tables have terrible attitudes! The pizza is very good. Came out super hot and the toppings tasted very fresh. Drinks are cheap, they also have a Touch Tunes and many TVs. Just a really solid place.

I have been to the pub side and it is fine. This review is for the annex/restaurant side. I visited at about 2pm on a Monday afternoon. There were two other people inside. The first thing that I noticed was the string smell of cooked pizza dough coming from the kitchen. One of the challenges of being a good pizza place is that the whole place smells like pizza. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken quickly. The ham and cheese and personal pizza were outstanding. The food has always been good here. That being said, the strip mall that it is in is old and almost off-putting. This place and the bar side have been here for a long time. Most of the customers are regulars and older. I would not let that stop you from enjoying it. The whole place does need a deep cleaning and makeover but this doesn't seem like the place that has $20K in cash reserves or is going to take out a huge bank loan to do the updates. I assume that it will keep going as it is until owners or those that inherit it retire. I have always had good service and good food. The place is just dated, which I am a-ok with!

Great Family place to get affordable Great tasting food! My favorite is the baked pasta! Portion is large enough to share or take home for a good lunch next day. There is a Family side and a full separate bar if you prefer an Adult setting.

The pizza is amazing. Definitely a local staple for pizza. Cozy dive bar atmosphere with great food!

Scampy's is an alright establishment. It has some good pizza, pretty good restrooms, and ok customer service. Although their breadsticks are dry but pretty good. They even stated it themselves that it was dry. Overall I recommend going there but they could be a little bit better. But I'd still would go there every once in a while. It's still a good pizza place.

This pizza place was recommended from a friend. It is small and family friendly. When I walked in, at 1st glance, the place could have been a little more tidy. I was confused as to whether to seat myself, but when I asked, they were very helpful.On to the good part. I felt like I had the friendliest waiter I could have ever had. He was very polite and made us feel very comfortable. I ordered garlic bread and pizza. Within 10 minutes, I was served both. They were both straight out of the oven and very good. The pizza toppings were piled on thick (just how I like it). For some odd reason, even the Diet Coke tasted very good! I would go back the next time I'm in the area.

I ordered carryout from here a couple of days ago and was pleased with the food, the price and the friendliness of the staff. The pizza and garlic cheese bread were excellent, can't wait to try some other options next time!

Menu clearly states " $1.50 off all pasta dinners on Thursday"..this discount only applies to dine-in but that's NOT how they advertise it! They would not honor the discount on my carry out order.

Food was great! Service was good, and the atmosphere is your typical local hole in the wall bar. Perfect night out for my husband and I that dig these local gems.

If you like cheese they will make you smile, they have quite a verity of food but it's specialty is pizza. It's our go to place for pizza.
