Savage's Ale House

Savages is a favorite of ours. They have an awesome beer selection and their food hits the spot. If you like fried foods, their app trio is wonderful. Or favs are the mushrooms, mozzarella, and jalapeño poppers. The sauces are fantastic. A nice marinara, ranch (which I assume is handmade, and a sweet chili. I usually get their Reuben. It's so good and the corned beef is lean. No bouncy pieces. But this time I tried their veggie melt. Very nice. Imagine a Reuben but instead of meat, they use spinach, mushrooms, and bell peppers. So good. You'd better believe that there were some crazy cheese pulls. Please go. You won't regret it.

Always had great food and service, I like this place. a Dive? nah, it's a great example of a Hoosier Pub, the menu has everything you'd need/want. the beer list goes on forever.this was the first place I tried after moving to Muncie last summer.. I've never been disappointed and ofc I'm going back. thanks

I don't know exactly what counts as a dive bar, but Savage's might fit that bill. Unassuming, popular with locals, and extremely affordable. They have lots of rotating draft options and a variety of delicious pub food. Somehow it's very cheap for 2024 restaurant prices. I got the loaded fries and I also tried the jalapeno poppers my partner ordered. Both were delicious. The bacon bleu cheese burger really hit the spot. There was a bit of a wait to grab a table but it moved quickly. Service was great. There is a lot of great...literature in the bathroom, be sure to check it out!

A really good place to eat. I really enjoyed the service. The servers did an outstanding job. I highly recommend this place to eat. Your whole family would enjoy this place.

This is a great Muncie bar/restaurant. I discovered it about a year ago. Nice drinks on tap. Get a "Chuck Berry"...yummmmm! I always say "this time I'm gonna get something different"? Then when it's time to order, I always order the jalapeño burger. It is freaking awesome. Don't forget the fries they are amazing! It's a girls night out place for us. We love the pool table. Come join us.

Still loving this place and realizing it is a hidden gem! Took a work friend with me and she had never been, loved it and will be coming back. She got the appetizer sampler. It came out hot, delicious, and huge! She took home enough for probably two more meals. I got a salad and enjoyed one of their many delicious draft ciders. Again had great service and a very satisfying experience at an affordable cost.

Was passing by Savage's Ale House in Muncie and had to go out of my way for it. Been craving their mozzarella grilled cheese for a while and thought, "Why not? Who knows when I'll be in the area again?" Had to get some of that college nostalgia, and it was just as good as I remembered--if not better. Seriously, if you're nearby, go. You won't regret it.

Since its opening, Savage's has always been a great place to go in Muncie for a good burger and a drink. I've had nothing but great experiences here and to this day still recommendthis place to anybody I know stopping by the area.

Servers are so authentic here. Every item is stellar. I love the art in Savages. Its a nessary visit for anyone in Muncie. The weekly specials alone are worth coming back for
