Sam's Gyros

Ordered from Sam's for pick up. I had a full size beef Gyro and my daughter had a chicken Shawarma sandwich. She said she would've preferred having it over rice, and she really loved the depth of flavor on the chicken. We also had an order of hummus which we loved but the bread was just store-bought bread, so it was just OK and the lentil soup my daughter loved it. I thought it needed a little more spices to it overall a delicious meal.The service when I went to pick up the the order was great. He was very helpful and quick. They were near closing time so there was only one other couple in the building. It's a relatively small place, but very clean on the corner of 54th and college. I will definitely go again.

All I wanted was a piece of baklava... they should have offered me some water or something too because it's dry dry dry.... Definitely not gonna order other food from here because why would I smh

Have passed this place many times as I live in the area, but finally got to try it for the first time the other day. I got the full size gyro and my friend got the half size. The full size was just two half pitas wrapped separately which was kinda strange. The bread could be better, and in my opinion the bread can make or break a gyro. Also the cucumber sauce has very large chunks of cucumber.

I will not support this location. I wanted the Gyros with the open pita bread. I ordered from their site. I was told I needed to order via Door Dash to get the sandwich I desired. How was I supposed to know when I ordered directly through the site, and I picked it up? There are better places!

Excellent. We ordered gyros for delivery and we're pleasantly surprised. This was one of the best gyros I've had in quite some time: the meat was well seasoned and moist not greasy, the slices were large and plentiful. The salad, cucumbers and onion were fresh and crunchy. The fries with feta were crispy, and although I would have preferred more feta, tasty.This will be our new favorite for gyros!

Phenomenal food, great prices. Lunch specials were fast and tasty Great balance of flavors and the tzatziki sauce is to die for!

Back again!! Spanakopita was still light and fluffy and melt in your mouth delicious! And I think their chicken shawarma is the best I have tried in town!Wow! This is a hidden gem. I have driven by many times and finally decided to pop in for dinner. The spanakopita was the best I have tasted. The Saganaki was tasty as well.

Sam's gyros are delicious. Tangy tziki sauce and perfect lamb with lots of veges.... You will need a breathe mint after if you are smart enough to ask for onions!Also their Greek salad is a taste of Athens. I'd say this place and Greek Island downtown are my perineal favorites. The owner is a low key guy who is always working and very happy to get you what you need. The place has been newly renovated so is a great corner spot. Nothing fancy... just wicked good Greek when you get the jones!

We love this place. The portion sizes are huge. The food is always fresh and very well seasoned. The staff is friendly and always willing to recommend something we haven't tried. And everything we've tried has been wonderful.

Amazing food! Love their Greek Fries and shawarma. Definitely one of my favorite Arab restaurants in Indiana. The owner is great!
