Sam's Gyros

I really had a craving for one of Sam's spicy Gyros. This location is currently closed and nowhere on the web or their website mention it. Wasted a trip.

The staff were super friendly. And the food was good. Not the best shawarma and falafel in town, but definitely tasty. I have to dock a couple of stars for the state of the dinning room. There were open construction projects lying around the floor, and everything had a fairly rundown and in need of a good scrub look. If you don't mind slumming it a little, the food's ok.

My wife and I decided to stop by Sam's Gyros for lunch this Sunday afternoon. We've been to Sam's several times before. This is our "go to" for "Greek" here in Fishers. Today we ordered the Gyros Plater, Lentil soup, and a Greek Salad. The Lentil soup (my favorite), was hot and tasty. I love the flavor and give it 5 stars. The Greek salad was fresh and crisp with a little too much dressing for my liking. My wife and I split the Gyro Plater, and we had enough left over for a half time snack during the Lions / 49ers NFL Playoff game later this evening. The Gyro meat and pita bread is good. (about what you would expect in any good Middle Eastern type restaurant). My wife especially likes Sam's cucumber sauce. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall and is well decorated considering the location. The staff (usually two people) is friendly and efficient. Good food. Good value. Give Sam's Gyros a try.

We was in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. It was a little early on Saturday and nobody else was in there. I'm confused as why because it was excellent. The wife and I split a gyro and a shawarma along with some falafel. My son had a kids burger which was regular size and came with fries. The staff was excellent and the food was top notch. It was all priced very reasonably. Not sure why we never stopped in before but we will definitely return.

Gyro here is not what it used to be to be. Pita was dry and crumbly. Meat was bland and flavorless. However 3 stars because their hummus is still the best I have ever had.

The chicken Greek salad was great. Just the right amount of food and the chicken was very good. Fresh salad with cucumbers, tomato's and olives. The olives weren't Mediterranean but it was all very good. Service was fast and it was easy ordering thru Yelp.

Love this place! The gyro salad is top tier! Great lunch specials and staff are nice.

I used to get lunch here often about 10 years ago, when I was working nearby, and everything was awesome as it was before. The lentil soup was a little thin but that's the only minor complaint I can make about all the different food we had. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to come back again soon!

Food is always delicious and exactly what you expect. Perfectly seasoned and great for the whole family.

Kind of a secret place, but they've had the best gyro in Indy for like 15 years now. Love it!!
