The setting is weird to me... it's near the ChickFilA across from Hamilton Town Center that's also a liquor store/gas station. The portions are decent and the prices ok, but it's just not great. I struggle with these types of reviews because I don't want to slam anywhere that's not bad... but I also really can't find something good to say while still being honest. We've tried it three different times and the only thing we've repeated is the chicken burrito because the chicken has a good, fresh taste. But everything else is just mediocre. There'd have to be something new to bring us back when there's other, better restaurants in that area and in that genre. The service is not stand-out either... not bad, not good. Just there to take our order and payment, that's it.

The best tacos I've had in long time. The corn wasSo good too. I love going here because they have so many delicious flavors to choose from, the customer service was great. Very clean and well organized. I can't wait to go back for more!

Great food. Im from San Diego, where we have the best Mexican food. I approve of this place. I got the roll tacos. (They call them Flautas here) they tasted very authentic. Also got carne asada burrito, and California burrito. I replaced the pico for sour cream and tasted great. Pico doesn't belong on that imo.

Be sure to check your cake before digging in. Yes, that is mold. Concerning to think that has been sitting there long enough to start molding. How often is the food inventory checked that is in the window display?

We had our first visit to Samano's Taqueria just yesterday. On each of our trips from Louisville to Ft. Wayne was always stop at the Shell station next door for fuel and snacks and we'd always say "We need to get lunch at Samano's sometime!" Well, 'sometime' was yesterday.Samano's is an order-at-the-count type of restaurant. The menu is is located on the wall behind the counter. Tacos, Burritos, and Tortas are but a few of the menu options, and everything is made to order.Since it was lunch we both opted for two tacos...the way tacos should be, on a corn tortilla with just cilantro and onion, with a lime wedge on the side. I had pastor and chicken, the wife steak and chorizo. I was 100% interested in the bacon wrapped burrito, but we still had about 2 1/2 hours to drive so I had to keep that in mind. And glass bottle Coke®. If glass bottle Coke® is available, you are obligated...and, let's be honest, it goes great with Mexican food.We arrived towards the end of the lunch rush so the restaurant wasn't very busy. A couple of tables lingered, but for the most part it was empty and the floors and tables had been recently cleaned. After we ordered it wasn't even 10 minutes before our food arrived...and as a firm believer in "hot food hot", it was HOT! Had to let them sit a minute because they were too hot to pick up! #Awesome!Around the corner you'll find the salsa bar and the fountain drink station. They offer a selection of sauces and salsas for complimenting your meal, as well as diced onions and pickled jalapeños. The diced onions were a great touch! All the salsas were very good, my favorite being the Salsa Chile Fresno. I don't know what kind of magic went into that salsa, but it was smoky and absolutely worth writing home (or, at least, a review) about). The gentleman who took our orders was awesome and checked with us a couple of times to make sure everything was OK...and it absolutely was.I'm glad we finally got to try Samano's Taqueria and, at the same time, sad that we haven't before now. That's OK, though, because we now have a lunch stop when passing through.

Updating my review to say that Samano's Taqueria is one of my favorite burrito stops. Actually everything is excellent here but my favorite is the veggie burrito. The salsa bar is a special treat. Salsa Morita has the best flavor of any salsa in Hamilton county. Trust me, because I think I have tried them all. I was here today at 6:30 pm and the restaurant was very clean. The restroom had just been cleaned and was sparkling. The employees were friendly and helpful.Sometimes great things are found in unusual places. Located next to a gas station and near Crew carwash, Samano's is a must try.

This place is fire!!!!!! It's a hidden gem of a Taco place! It never disappoints for authentic street tacos. Al pastor and chicken tacos never let us down! Husband says it's his favorite taco spot, best al pastor he's had, they even have the authentic "trompo" to cook them on.Before a concert at Ruoff THIS IS THE SPOT! Don't you dare let the gas station attached fool you! Come expecting greatness and know it's worth the cost and your time! Some times they crank during lunch and dinner. There popularity may cause a wait but it's worth it!
