Sam’s Square Pie

I love this place! Finally, a great pizza place in my neighborhood. I hope this place continues to do well and sticks around for a long time! The pizza is fabulous. It is detroit style so it is a large rectangle and it is thick. 1-2 slices will do you well. You can easily split a pizza between 3 people (IMO) unless everyone is very hungry. The service is great. I sat at the bar top counter and really enjoyed speaking with the server. She was super friendly and overall the restaurant has a great neighborly vibe to it. I will continue to get pizza from here! Only gave 4 starts instead of 5 due to the limited seating and they did not serve alcohol (at least when I was there). These aren't big deals, but just explaining my star review! Support local everyone!Update to above review* I went back to Sam's last night for takeout. I got the small Camaro pizza to split with a friend- it was the perfect amount. I really love the crust and red sauce on the pizza. It's so delicious. I also noticed that they do serve alcohol now and have a bar seating area. I went in to get the pizza and heard the manager telling the employees "great job everyone." I loved hearing the positivity amongst the employees. Really great customer service too! Great place

A lovely little shop - come support localI'm not the biggest fan of Detroit style but this was delicious. Also don't skip out on the garlic knots! Can't wait to come back!

I can't believe it but I had never heard of this place until I read about it in the newspaper. I know that seems crazy but after I read about them I had to look it up and all of the pictures and comments are pretty good so I had to try it for myself. You have to go to the pizza shop to order they don't have a phone. You can park out front if there is a spot on 10th but if not there is a parking lot out back. There is a nice area to sit down to eat as well as a place to waitIf you are getting it to go like I did. I ordered 2 small pizzas an El Jefe and a pepperoni. It was about a 20min wait. The pizza held up nicely on the way home and was as good as it looked. You may not think hot honey is a good idea when you read the description but it compliments the pizza well. The crust is also perfect, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I can't wait to share this spot with others.

Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had. My husband and I eat a lot of pizza and try a lot of pizza/styles and we couldn't get over how perfect this pizza was. We ordered online ahead of time and though our pizza wasn't ready when we arrived once we got it, it came out hot and delicious. On top of the amazing pizza, the space and restroom were clean and service was extremely friendly. It's the perfect little chill and cozy pizza spot. I can't wait to go again.

Amazing taste and nothing else like it near Indy. Jeff is always friendly and appreciative of our support. Valentines night was awesome, crowd was a positive problem. The words getting out.

I had heard good things about Sam's Square Pie, but I was not prepared for the pizza to be one of my favorites EVER. Detroit style is my favorite type of pizza and Sam's knocks it out of the park. I got the Crushstar, which has red sauce and pesto, fresh basil, hot honey, and lots of cheese. The crust has perfectly crisp edges with caramelized cheese, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and it all comes together in perfect harmony with the hot honey drizzle. The pizza is very filling, but leftovers are just as good the next day.

Great Detroit style pizza! It's my new favorite in Indy. The ingredients are clean and the cheese is high quality. The crispy edges are a treat. It's easy to get full on two slices, so a large pie (8 slices) was perfect for our group. They have nine varieties of pizza to choose from, including garlic knots and cheesy garlic bread. The employees were super friendly. There is a dine-in area with a few tables and chairs and it's a nice ambiance inside with art on the walls.

Finally got to try this place out and was not disappointed! Great pizza, decent price, lovely owner interaction, and friendly staff. I noticed that they personally thanked each patron group as they left and I love that. Well worth the trek

There's pizza and then there's Sam's! I heard great things about this spot prior to eating here and it definitely lived up to the hype. Amazing pizza, friendly staff, and good vibes. Proportions are great too! Get to this place.. ASAP.

The food here is absolutely phenomena. I stopped in with my fiancée and mother yesterday and was shocked by the quality of the crust! Crunchy, airy and delicious. My personal favorite was the garlic jalapeño ricotta cheese topped on my pizza! The service was also incredible as well! Definitely will stop by again and good luck in Vegas!
