Salt Creek Inn

The motel was clean, and the man at the desk, probably the owner, was super nice. It was nothing fancy, but it was close to town with couple restaurants nearby. Didn't realize bbq restaurant right behind us until we got ready to leave. IGA right across the way and Family Dollar right behind. Would have given it 5 stars but apparently pet friendly so had dog hair in outside chair by door...and had to plunge stool couple times but have to do that at home once in a while so definitely not deal breaker.

If you have any other choice, do NOT stay here. The place is an absolute dump. And the staff is unhelpful. Among the most irritating details for me were the ice machine wasn't working, the bath towels were paper thin, the curtain didn't cover the window, there was a hole in the wall where someone had slammed the door knob against it & the TV didn't work because there were no batteries in the remote! We only stayed here because it was the only place we could find in Nashville that allows dogs.

EW!!!! BEWARE!!!!! BED BUGS!!!We checked into our hotel and it was horrible. Smelled terrible, bad everywhere, DIRTY AND OLD. we were grossed out but left a few days and went to go explore the town a bit. While we were out and about, we decided we couldn't stay at that nasty place so we were going to go back and get our stuff and head to another hotel. At that point it was so bad we didn't mind having to pay again for another hotel for the night-we just wanted to be out of there! When we got back to our room to get our stuff there was a BED BUG crawling on the pillows!!!!!!!!!! We immediately went and got management to show them. The man just brushed the BED BUG away and then told us he can give us a different room?! UH NO THANKS! Since he saw the bed bug himself he gave us a refund but it didn't matter even before we saw the bed bug and before we were getting a refund we weren't staying no way!!!

This place is the worst. Had to call number on door just to get someone and then no remote in room and no breakfast and no discount. Horrible place. Go somewhere else. Will not get discount fro anything. Pay the extra for somewhere else. Only put one star because I had to

When e got there I as sooooooooooooo disappointed. The place looks like a old dump, but we were running late and I had the room booked already. OMG when we walked into the room, we were shocked!!!!! Absolutely horrible, indeed.The room smelled like urine, the carpet was nasty, the whole place looked uncleaned, the baseboards were detached from the walls, the fridge was nasty, and you could see the room above you through the floor in the bathroom. Do not stay there at all and it was a overpriced nightmare. The place stinks!!!!!

I really wish I could give this "inn" negative stars. I have never been in such a disgusting hotel in my life. We rented 2 rooms and when we walked into the first one it smelled terrible, had stains all over the carpet, and had dirty underwear in the corner of the room. The second one was actually worse! We finally pulled back one of the comforters and there was a huge cockroach that ran out and bedbugs all over the top sheet. We saw enough and booked it out of there. I didn't have a chance to even look in the bathroom. When we asked the owner for our cash back he wanted us to show him the rooms. He accused us of leaving the dirty underwear, then proceeded to pick it up and stuff it in his pocket! When showed the bugs he brushed them off the bed as if it was no big deal. He argued, made threats and outright refused to give us our money back until we said we would call the police. At that point he reached into his pocket and pulled out our wad of cash. We have contacted the health department as this place needs to be shut down! Please for the love of all things good do NOT stay at this hotel....I mean unless you want to end up with bedbugs and smelling like moldy mothballs. We should have read the reviews ahead of time and saved ourself the headache.

There are no smoke detectors, the room smells musty, were not clean, you get two towels and wash clothes for 4 adults, management was less than helpful, the internet did not work, no coffee maker, no ice machine, no hair dryer, all in all it was an out of date hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

Recommend! Would definitely stay again!! Love the area, the rooms are nice and cozy! Stayed here a few times and I've loved every single time I've been there!

Stayed here one night and I have to say that it was really gross. No working phones, internet, or TV. The room smelled really musty and the place was basically empty (including the front desk which had the workers cell phone number taped to the door). Ended up paying $112 for one night and I wish I slept in my car instead. Everything was dirty and run down.

This place is a total sh*t hole. If there was a room ANYWHERE else to stay, we would have left in a heart beat. The first room they gave us had a door jamb that had been broke into and a child could open it if locked. The linens/towels were absoutely filthy! We actually had to go to the Dollar store right behind to buy a set of sheets and pillows ! There had not been a vacuum run in ages and there were ants all over one corner of the room. This place needs to be demolished,,,,,.
